2、Taco Bell: Mexico food:
4、Wendys:
排到你店员会问你:“for here or to go?" 假如在店里吃,就是”for here",否则就是"to go"。

AFTERNOON TEA (The traditional 4 o'clock tea)
This is a small meal, not a drink. Traditionally it consists of Tea (or coffee) served with either ofthe following:Freshly baked scones served with cream and jam (Known as a cream tea)
Afternoon tea sandwiches often thinly sliced cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off.
下午茶三明治通常都是无边的黄瓜三明治}
Assorted pastries
Now most ordinary British families do not have time for afternoon tea at home, but in the past it was a tradition. It became popular about one hundred and fifty years ago, when rich ladies invited their friends to their houses for an afternoon cup of tea. They started offering their visitors sandwiches and cakes too. Soon everyone was enjoying Afternoon tea.
HIGH TEA (The traditional 6 o'clock tea)
The British working population did not have afternoon tea. They had a meal about midday, and a meal after work, between five and seven o'clock. This meal was called 'high tea' or just 'tea'.
Traditionally eaten early evening, High tea was a substantial meal that combined delicious sweet foods, such as scones, cakes, buns or tea breads, with tempting savouries, such as cheese on toast, toasted crumpets, cold meats and pickles or poached eggs on toast. This meal is now often replaced with a supper due to people eating their main meal in the evenings rather than at midday.

American menus can look rather confusing at first sight, for they may use some terms which are unfamiliar to most vistors. Here are some points which may be useful.
Fried mushrooms, fried onion rings (洋葱圈) and fried zucchini (小胡瓜) are sometimes served as starters (第一道菜).
Potatoes most often come "French-fried" or baked. If you order a baked potato, the waiter will ask you what you want on it. The choice is butter and/or sour cream and sometimes chives (细香葱).
Very often vegetables do not come automatically with the meal, and you have to pay extra for them.
"Scrod" (小鳕鱼), "red snapper" (啮龟) and "mahi hahi" are all name of fish. "Seafood"means lobster (龙虾), shellfish and fish, including, funnily enough, freshwater fish! Prawns (对虾) are known as "shrimp".
American beef is usually good and often wonderful.
American salt and pepper (糊椒粉) pots are confusing until you realize that the salt pot may look like a pepper pot except that the salt pot's holes are bigger. Pepper is normally black rather than white. American mustard (芥末) is mild and normally eaten with hot dogs or hamburgers rather than meat.
And that stuff in a dish that looks ice cream is actually whipped (搅拌过的) butter.

Being Queen Elizabeth II opens you up to certain privileges thatthe rest of us can only dream of. Not only does she get to live inBuckingham Palace, milling between 700 odd rooms on a dailybasis, but there are a few other actions that the Queen and onlythe Queen can pull off.
Here are the things that the Queen can do that you can’t, not that she's showing off or anything:
·If you're the Queen of England acquiring a driving license like every other British 17-year-old isnot necessary. The Queen is the only person in Britain who can drive without a licence. Becausethey are issued in the Queen's name, it would be unnecessary for her to give herself a license. Butthat doesn't mean she can't drive – Elizabeth operated a first-aid truck for the Women’s quduwenryTerritorial Service during WWII.
·As well as not having to have a licence, she also does not have to bother with a registrationplate for her car.
·The Queen can travel abroad without any travel documents or a passport, since these are issuedin her own name. This is something that even other members of the Royal Family can't get awaywith, so passports at the ready Charles et al.
·Her majesty is entitled to two birthdays per year. While her actual proper legit birthday is on 21April, her 'official' Queen's birthday is celebrated on a Saturday in June.
·Most of us have to walk outside to draw cash but unlike the average citizen, the Queen has herown private cash machine installed in the basement of Buckingham Palace, supplied by exclusivefancy bank Coutts.
·The Queen does not have to pay taxes, unlike the rest of us peasants. However, she has beenvoluntarily paying tax since 1992 because she’s nice like that.
·The Queen holds the ability to fire the entire Australian government since she is technically theHead of State in Australia.
·We can be arrested; Queen Elizabeth II cannot as she is immune from prosecution. Because thecourts are under the power of the Sovereign, i.e the Queen, she is unable to prosecute herselfbecause that would be ridiculous.
· Also, she cannot be compelled to give evidence in court since all prosecutions are carried out inthe name of the Sovereign.
· The Queen and members of the Royal Family are exempt from Freedom of Information requests, meaning you can't request to find out all her secrets – although earlier this year Prince Charles'spider letters' were revealed to the public after a court ruling.

Early Irish dress, based on Gaelic and Norse costumes, consisted of check trews for men, worn with a fringed cloak or mantle, or a short tunic for both men and women, worn with a fringed cloak. This style of dressing was prohibited in the 16th century under sumptuary laws, passed to suppress the distinctive Irish dress and so overcome Irish reluctance to become part of England. In particular, the wearing of the fringed cloak was forbidden, as was the wearing of trews or any saffron-coloured garment (saffron yellow was an important feature of Irish costume).
Although a strong tradition of wearing folk costume does not survive in Northern Ireland today, folk music and folk dancing are very important.

Q: What facts about the United States do foreigners not believe until they come to America?
Everyone is highly private about their accomplishments and failures. Someone's performance in any field is their performance alone. This is different compared to India where people flaunt their riches and share their accomplishments with everybody else.
Rich people are thin/ well maintained, poor people are fat. This stems from the fact that cheap food is fatty, rich people don't eat cheap food — they tend to eat either home-cooked food which is expensive or eat at expensive / healthy places. Unfortunately, it is expensive to be healthy in America.
Fat people are not respected much in society. Being fat often has the sameconnotations as being irresponsible towards your body. If you're thin (and tall, but not as much), people will respect you a lot more and treat you better. You will also receive better customer service if you're well maintained. This extends my previous point which mentioned that if you're thin, you're statistically likely to be rich. Reason why I know this is that I went down from being 210lbs to 148-150lbs. The way people started treating me when I was thin was generally way better than the way I was treated when I was fat. As a small example, the Starbucks baristas were much nicer to me and made me drinks with more care.
Almost every single person in America has access to basic food, clothing, water and sanitation. I haven't been to states like Louisiana and cities like Detroit, but from what I can tell, nobody is scrambling for the basic necessities required for sustenance.
Americans waste a lot of food. It is very easy to buy in bulk because it's so much cheaper and as a result a lot of wastage occurs.
Obsession with coffee — Starbucks, Dunkin' etc is crowded with office-goers and students every morning. I don't understand why they can't drink or make coffee before leaving for work. Such a waste of money! ($5/day * 5days / week * 52weeks/year)!
Support towards the LGBT community — it's fairly normal to be part of the LGBT community; it's not considered a mortal sin if you like someone in your own gender or if you aren't comfortable being male/female/etc. Proof of this is the LGBT Pride Day held in every city.

But students at the central Illinois campus don’t just bury theirheads in books, they also party — so much so that they’ve earned the top spot on The PrincetonReview’s annual list of top party schools in the U.S., the college guide said Monday.
“Drinking culture is huge here,” according to an unnamed student in the Princeton Review’s 2016edition of the “The Best 380 Colleges.” The university has about 31,000 undergraduate students.
University spokeswoman Robin Kaler was bothered by the No. 1 ranking — a first for the campus, which has been among the list’s top five for years — and said it painted students in a false light.
“They are serious, they are hard-working, and to try to present them as being somehowirresponsible is insulting,” she said Monday.
The largest of the parties is an annual day of drinking called Unofficial, a St. Patrick’s Daycelebration that was started by a local bar. The event included fatal accidents in 2001 and 2006.The university tries every year to keep the event under control, often beefing up police presenceand, two years ago, even asking parents to help them tone down the partying.
The Princeton Review’s publisher says the collection of lists is meant to paint a picture of life oncampus at the schools it reviews, using students’ answers to a long series of questions aboutstudent life to create profiles, as well as lists for things such as partying, dorm life, sports, politicalpersuasions and more.
“We have such a high regard for each of the 380 schools,” said publisher Robert Franek, whosereview is not affiliated with Princeton University. “The University of Illinois, it is an exceptionalschool.”
For those who don’t imbibe, the top stone-cold sober school is Brigham Young University(BYU), the private Utah school affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Tops for most religious students? That’s BYU, too.
(Churchof Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)。
Looking for the best campus food? Try the small, exclusive Bowdoin College in Maine.
Most satisfied students? Claremont McKenna University, under what one student told the reviewwas “the constantly beaming California sun.”
Want a job? Go to Clemson University in South Carolina, where students say they’re instantly partof a worldwide network.
The party rankings, like most parties themselves, change over time. The University of Iowa is aformer No. 1, but came in at No. 2 this year.
Freshmen due in Iowa City this month will find dozens of bars downtown and many house partiesawaiting them. But the city has also made it harder for those under 21 to get into bars, and policeofficers will be patrolling neighborhoods to break up rowdy parties.
Rounding out the top five party schools are, in order: The University of Wisconsin-Madison,Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and last year’s No. 1, Syracuse University in New York.

What do foreigners find most annoying about Americans?
Erin Paige Law
As an Australian who has travelled quite a bit and been part of many different expatcommunities, I find that Americans more than people from other countries do this one particular thing that annoys me.
When I am speaking, really about anything, just in general conversation, I hate being interrupted so that someone can impersonate my accent to me.
This is how it goes:
Me: "...so then I'd probably add just a little butter..."
American: "Buttah! Buttah...you say Buttah. Australian accents are so funny!"
Me: "Uh yeah, so as I was saying..."
So I have a different accent. I get that. But people not from Australia have a very different accent from me. I don't stop them midway through a conversation to repeat back to them what they said because, well, it's just rude.

Disclaimer: I love the U S of A. I spent some of the best years of my life there. I love most Americans that I have met (except for the jackasses).
So...this is not exactly an annoyance. But one thing I notice about some (many?) Americans that I don't see that much elsewhere is, they are eating or drinking something all the time. Like, if they go to the movies they're munching on a huge bucket of popcorn or sipping on a bucket of soda through the entire movie. If they're walking down the street they have a Starbucks latte or a Snapple bottle or something in one hand and a phone in the other. Or they are chewing gum. They eat in the car all the time too. The excuse I've heard for this is it's because Americans are so busy all the time that they have to eat on the run anywhere they can. But still...aren't people in other countries busy too? It's a bit of a puzzle.

I get worried about Americans' response if I criticize something about the US. Europeans and Asians are used to criticism from outsiders more due to multicultural geography and not take that criticism as hate. Every now and then, when I criticize something about the US online, even when I'm very careful with my words to not offend anyone, I still receive some responses like, "First look at your own country!", "You're not from here, you have no right to say anything." "Foreigners hate America."

Americans have a lot of behaviors that while not being actually bad things, seem rude to foreigners.
Americans are loud.
It seems to be the norm here in the US, so you don't notice it a lot, but in other countries where people speak "normally", it sounds very rude/uneducated.
Especially in restaurants, where all the locals speak softly and politely to each other, and a group of people is like "OH MY GAWD, THIS FOOD IS SO GOOD, BWAHAHAHA, THAT'S THE SH*T DUDE!"
Everyone else in the restaurant is immediately thinking "Rude Americans".
