You must control and direct your emotions not abolish them. Besides, abolition would be antimissile task. Emotions are like a river. Their power can be dammed up and released under control and direction, but is cannot be held forever in check. Sooner or later the dam will burst, unleashing catastrophic destruction.
Your negative emotions can also be controlled and directed. PMA and self-discipline can remove their harmful effects and make them serve constructive purposes. Sometimes fear and anger will inspire intense action. But you must always submit your negative emotions--and you positive ones--to the examination of your reason before releasing them. Emotion without reason is a dreadful enemy.
What faculty provides the crucial balance between emotions and reason? It is your willpower, or ego, asubject which will be explored in more detail below. Self-discipline will teach you to throw your willpower behind either reason or emotion and amplify the intensity of their expression.
Both your heart and your mind need a master, and they can find the master in your ego. However, your ego will fill their role only if you use self-discipline. In the absence of self-discipline, your mind and heart will fight their battles as they please. In this situation the person within whose mind the fight is carried out often gets badly hurt.

One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley. A large crowd gathered and they all admired his heart for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes, they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. The young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart.
Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, “Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine.” The crowd and the young man looked at the old man’s heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn’t fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing.
The people stared — how can he say his heart is more beautiful, they thought? The young man looked at the old man’s heart and saw its state and laughed. “You must be joking,” he said. “Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears.”
“Yes,” said the old man, “Yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love — I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into the empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren’t exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared. Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn’t returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges — giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space in my heart. So now do you see what true beauty is? ”
The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks. He walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. He offered it to the old man with trembling hands.
The old man took his offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young man’s heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.
The young man looked at his heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man’s heart flowed into his.
They embraced and walked away side by side.

Home, home, sweet home! Home is sweeter than ever when you come back from a tough trip. I made it back home at 20:00 Sunday, from a two-day adventure excursion to Baisha River, Hongkou, Dujiangyan City.
On 21-22 August 2004 I had several outdoor challenges first time in my life - River Tracing, sleeping in a tent in the wilderness, Free-hanging zipline, free-fall Abseil. Besides, I carried a professional 70-liter backpack, a damppoof cushion, a sleeping bag and other must-to-take items for outdoor activities, a load of 25 kilos at least. I had to walk up and down a 2-km mountain trail, and made my way through bushes under which the trail was very wet and slippery. Having been enjoying life for the last 30 years, I really have to admire myself for this tour. It was an invaluable new experience in my life.
I appreciate the Chengdu Boondocks Outdoor Exercise Club for their very good arrangement. The two guides, Hao and Tan Ke (tank in English) were excellent instructor and team leaders. I am thankful for all the care and friendship of my team members as well. It was our collective efforts that made this adventure a blast of success.
The adventure group was made of the following outstanding people, many of them outdoor veterans:
Hao (浩, a common boy''s given name)
Tan Ke (坦克, tank)
Juan Niao (倦鸟, weary bird)
Bu Zui Bu Gui (不醉不归, No home until drunk)
Xiao Co (小CO)
Qing Feng (清风, cool breeze)
Da Hei (大黑, Heavy black)
Xiao Long Nu (小龙女, Little Dragon Maiden )
Xiao Wei (小薇, a common girl''s given name)
Kong Xin (空心, hollow heart)
Xi Xi (西西,Double Xi – a cute girl''s name)
Bluebird (蓝鸟,me)
Lan Se (蓝色, blue)
Chong Er(宠儿,Sweetheart girl)
Each of them was committed outdoor adventurers. They were amazingly energetic. In them I saw what is life''s real vitality. I was overwhelmed at their unbelievable vigor - the vigor of youth.
I am also thankful for our two drivers for their professionalism. They took good care of the whole team. They drove very safely, which was important for a successful adventure.
River Tracing
It is easily taken for granted as a piece of cake, but one would be shocked when challenged by the seemingly calm and plain water.
A group of 15 people, we made it to Bagemiao ( the 8-angle temple) at noon, had a quick lunch, and climbed down to the Baisha River. The starting point did not have very big torrents. The water was going quite slowly, and I could see that it was pretty shallow as well, rocks of all sizes clearly visible.
Too excited, I jumped in front of the group and got into water before everybody else. A sudden surge of freezing cold went through my body. I almost immediately shivered a bit. Nothing would stop me from proving how brave and strong I am! So I moved to the other side where Hao was already waiting. Leader and guide of the group. he did not seem to be hindered by the running water in any way.
Soon I was pushed backward. It was just like a person pushing me by the feet, and it was pretty strong. I tried hard to keep balance, and yet was soon knocked over by the persistent force. I failed and disgraced myself very badly.
"Damn, this is really no joke! It is never a simple cake. I''ve got to be careful."
Having tried more, I got more used to the torrents, and only fell over one more time. Everybody got all wet through, but nobody seemed to be miserable. We did not have good luck of a sunny day, ideal for river tracing. So we had to endure the coldness when cool breezes took heat from our body. All were yelling “cold, cold!”
I had to mention the important company of the pretty ladies in our group. Had it not been for their active participation, we could not have had as much fun. They were the most noisy and funny – screaming in the middle of the river, falling over, shouting for help, cursing the men who were flirting and teasing them, getting back on the bank sharing the excitements…they were cute and charming; they made a gorgeous view enlivening the whole river; the running water was singing and rhyming with their laughters; the wind was blowing melodies, just in response to their beautiful voices. And right now in my mind, their pretty images and silvery voices linger.
Our hunks Hao, Tank and Juanniao absolutely got the most favors from all ladies. I was jealous, but had to admire their perfect outdoor skills, athletic bodies, and great sense of humor. They were almost like stroking across the river while everybody else tried with their full might and still fell over. They were professional players for sure. I love Hao''s humor. When told "wow, you were almost like a super power standing in the dangerous torrent helping all of us", he put it in a funny way, "oh, that''s what I am good for when I realize that I have grown into a big, fatty."
Tank was a committed guide. He ran to where he was most needed, across the river, along the bank through a forest of sharp rocks, across the mountain to set up rope courses…he was the most respected and admired, and also the most yelled at by ladies.
"Tank, I know it has to be you. Bad man!" would yell a lady when splashed by a rock that had been tossed into water behind her. Tank played the most tricks on girls. I also did some, true for every other man. Actually, as it turned out, girl flirting and teasing went through the whole trip, and proved to be an important reason for fun. I cannot imagine a trip with only girls or men. There would never have been fun, or as much fun to say the least. God first created a man, then he made a woman for his company, and then the man the woman are happy together. This is God''s will. We all have to follow.
"I hate Tank the most"; "Tank is the worst guy in our group"; "My God, Tank was tossing rocks again. he is always doing this today"…all these words were repeatedly said by every lady in the group. Never take it seriously as complaints. They were happy acceptance of flirtation. You can take it this way
"I like Tank who is always so funny and so active"; "Tank is the best guy in our group; "come on, Tank, I also need to be splashed. Give me a rock now".
Hahaha, that''s life. That''s how we have fun. When the ladies were swimming, a group of men were watching. Some were throwing rocks again; three were down in water behind the ladies; people were teasing; ladies were cursing, but their happy, smiling face betrayed their seeming strong voice. I kept hitting the shutter of my camera to record such magnificent scenes.

Complex jobs often turn out to be easy. Give it a try and get confident.
As it was getting dark, we were finishing up the last river tracing. All had been very cold, screaming for a change of dry clothes and a warm tea. We climbed ashore at the foot of the well-known GaoJiaZhuang resort. Having been dipped in cold water and spending too much energy fighting torrents, we were all worn out. I dragged my feet up the 1,000 meter mountain, pulling the last strength out of my exhausted body. When I saw the resort place, I was almost jumping up to cheer.
Hao went down the mountain to check out on a camping site. He was always so busy arranging everything for the whole group. When he came up to dinner again, it was already close to darkness.
I had thought of the camping site as a lawn or large plot of plain land. But the site Hao had chosen was more of a rock forest than a place where we could sleep overnight! Tank dragged behind him a spade he had borrowed from the resort owner – Lao Gao. He worked with Hao to help everybody set up their tents. The first procedure was to clear rocks off the sandy land. It was heavy labor. Hao did most of it. I only spaded two minutes and got tired.
Hao first helped ladies set up tents. While watching, I unpacked mine, and attempted to imitate the way he did it. Soon I was frustrated and gave it up. The first time ever I saw a real tent in front of me, I could not figure out what to do first, and what next. Hao was a very organized person, but a little bossy. He was always giving me (and others) friendly orders of what to do. I followed of course. Once done, I realized how easy it was to set up a tent. But it was never as easy sleeping overnight in a tent.
It was very different to live in the wilderness than at home. Lighting was the first problem to solve. We used head lights, but still could barely see things around clearly. Tank lit a candle, which broke through the darkness. We cheered. Soon I saw humps of flying insects coming at my face as I was standing by the candle. They were small insects that I had never seen. I moved away from the candle, and saw them run to the candle fire and died. My face was still hurting from their bumping just now. Their shocking spirit of taking death as going home sent me into deep thoughts.
The tent I had borrowed from A Yao was not dry. A handful of sand fell off when I opened it. The three-man tent was one of the biggest among our group, but I felt very depressed sleeping inside. The floor was so rough that I felt pain on my waist. So I had to turn sideway. I also hated the moisture and heat and the suffocating air. Afraid of mosquitoes and all other insects, I kept the tent door shut, and had to bear with it the whole night. It was totally a torture rather than an enjoyment, though the barbecue party was a blast.
Hao and Tank set up another huge tent, the so-called kitchen tent. I had to admire their skill to play the enormous, heavy thing at merely pure darkness. They depended on head lights to finish everything. A miracle!
We had an unforgettable barbeque party right under the kitchen tent. I was surprised by how wild the ladies became. In contrast, all men seemed to be very quiet. We had beer and toasted each other.
Ladies started to challenge men by playing liquor games with them. I only knew one very basic game, but many others knew a whole bunch. Xiao Co taught me an interesting one -- a Pretty girl vs. a Pervert. She said the words like she was singing, and elegantly added to the visual pleasure of the play by her nice gestures. I followed her and soon learned how to play it –
On a dark night when nothing could be seen.
Pervert, Pervert
Pretty Girl, Pretty Girl
Hero, Hero
Three different persons were called - Pretty Girl, Pervert and Hero - by two players simultaneously. The Pervert beats the Pretty Girl; the Hero beats the Pervert, and the Pretty Girl beats the Hero. Why does a strong, brave hero have to be beaten by a pretty girl? It is based on a well-known Chinese saying that a hero cannot get over the trap set by a pretty girl. So funny!
Steel Rabbit Cutie was pretty good at liquor games. She beat many people. When I was to play, I could only use the outdated dinosaur game – tiger, chicken, log and worm. What a shame! Thank goodness. I did not disgrace further and beat many as well.
The rabbit was so delicious. I started to have water in my mouth soon, but Tank said that it needs three hours on the fire – first hour to get dry, second hour to get soft, and third hour to be ready to eat. Knowledge lies in everything around outdoor activities. I was learning a lot.
We made a horrible mess around the camping place. We threw napkin paper, plastic bags, fruit skins to the ground; the barbecue party also produced "tons of trash." The peaceful riverside was almost torn and turned upside down.
By 4:00 pm Sunday we were still cooking food. Little Dragon Maiden was a skillful cook. She made wonderful patato chips and meize pellets. We were sitting around a big rock enjoying the delicious food. Suddenly Juanniao warned us of a heavy rain. We looked up to see black clouds casting over. Looking at his watch,
Juanniao said that the air pressure kept climbing, that a heavy rain was coming soon. I had to admire his experience. In no more than three minutes it started to rain. We had to run under the kitchen tent. It was raining very hard. Everybody got out their raincoats. Now we had a problem -- the messy riverside - what shall we do?
Nobody called what to do, but many people went out of the tent, into the rain, and started to pick up trash. I held a big bag in which I put every tiny drop of tissue paper, plastics, fruits residue...all were busy working around, and soon, I saw a clean land again.
When we left the riverside, I turned back. The rocks seemed to be more beautiful in the rain. We disturbed this place two days, had a lot of fun, and returned peace and harmony back to the Great Nature. We are blessed, and we want to leave the blessings to new camping groups.

#p#副标题#e#She was fond of Strauss, KFC, and Brazil Espresso. Dressed in decent grey professional skirt suit, she was busy working in a modernized office mansion. That was her life before meeting me. Ever since our dating all those have vanished.
It was in 1997 when I started my so-called "great business". She followed me wholeheartedly. That summer came early. Flowers dyed the town dazzlingly red. We stayed in the outskirts, in a small room of a condo known as an illegal structure of this city. Wind blew through all the four walls into the room, then home of her and me.
In order to save money, we walked to our store downtown every day. Lunches were always simple like doggie food, worth no more than 1.5 yuan for each of us. We walked back home at the end of the day, so beat that all we wanted was collapse into bed. It seemed that we made it through one whole year this way.
Those days were bitter. Business was my totem; love was her belief. Both supported us from falling apart.
We walked home late one day. She sat at the bed edge, washing her feet in a bucket on the floor. I went to the landlord for boiled water to make instant noodle. When I got back carrying a thermos bottle, she fell back into the bed sound asleep, feet in water. She must have been extremely exhausted. One of her hands was under her body. I heard her light snore.
I tiptoed to the bed and tried to flip her over so that she would be in a more comfortable position. I stared at her face, which was a young and pretty one and yet so wearied and exhausted.
I saw one mosquito on this pretty face.
That summer my city was like a huge steamer box. We put off one day to another the plan to buy a mosquito net, just to save money. I knew mosquitos were flying all about in our room, but I seemed not to be bothered. So exhausted when I got back each day, I doubted if I would wake up even though someone cut a piece of flesh off my body, let alone mosquito bites.
That mosquito stayed at her forehead, sipping her blood greedily. She was still sound asleep, not feeling anything. Perhaps she was in a sweet dream in which our business was turning better. There came an abrupt throb of my heart. I reached to wave my hand at the mosquito. But it was not at all scared. I wanted to bat it to death. I raised my hand up high, but it could not descend. I was afraid of waking her up — she was really worn out.
There lay a weak mosquito between her and me, doing harm to her right now. I froze there, hand in the air. I did not know what to do. I was worried. Suddenly, I began to get deeply fed up with myself. I hated me.
On the night of that summer, I stood by her side, feeling extremely guilty of her, of our love.
The mosquito finally flew away. I forgave it, but I could never forgive myself.
In the daytime I went by a peddler's stall and saw a pink mosquito net priced 16 yuan. That amount could be spent on a lot of dealings at that time. I headed back home without buying it. After she fell asleep, I got out of bed, stood by her side, and waved away mosquitos with a hard paper board as a weapon. I was her temporary mosquito net all that night through. After a while she woke up to find what I was doing. She gazed at me, and ten minutes later tears flooded her face.
The next day saw a pink mosquito net in my room. We were both silent working together to fix it on our bed. In my mind I had presented the net as a gift to her. I did not tell her that it was a gift. I was feeling that it was like a rose in full bloom. It was my compensation to love. Then I realized that nothing could really make it up. It was her birthday that day.
Years went by. And I made 160,000 yuan, or precisely we made 160,000 yuan. We did a lot of shopping, but never a mosquito net any more. We did not need any mosquito net. We live in a very well decorated apartment, where no mosquitos could fly in.
Nevertheless, I always feel that all these money, and all my belongings are far less important than the 16-yuan mosquito net, which was invaluable to her, to our love.
That summer was past. We had no choice but to love each other.

"We are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite…”
I do not know who wrote those words, but I have always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want to make it. We can take the mysterious, hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine, just as a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone.
We are all in the position of the farmer. If we plant a good seed, we reap a good harvest. If our seed is poor and full of weeds, we reap a useless crop. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.
I want the future to be better than the past. I don't want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled. We should all be concerned about the future because that is where we will spend the remainder of our lives.
The past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before us and dynamic. Everything we do will affect it. Each day brings with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our business, if we only recognize them. We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.

She replied, "No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will have a shoulder to cry on when you need it."
My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body. Through the years I would guess at what I thought was the correct answer.
When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, "My ears, Mommy."
She said, "No. Many people are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."
Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer. So this time I told her, "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes."
She looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind."
Over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, "No, but
you are getting smarter every year, my child."
Then last year, my Grandpa died. Everybody was hurt. Everybody was crying. My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to Grandpa. She asked me, "Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?"
I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a game between her and me. She saw the confusion on my face and told me, "This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived your life." I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, "My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder."
I asked, "Is it because it holds up your head?"
She replied, "No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or loved one when they cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear. I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will have a shoulder to cry on when you need it."
Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one. It is sympathetic to the pain of others.

Look what you find along the way!
If you have ever been discouraged because of failure, please read on.
For often, achieving what you set out to do is not the important thing. Let me explain.
Two brothers decided to dig a deep hole behind their house. As they were working, a couple of older boys stopped by to watch.
"What are you doing?" asked one of the visitors.
"We plan to dig a hole all the way through the earth!" one of the brothers volunteered excitedly.
The older boys began to laugh, telling the younger ones that digging a hole all the way through the earth was impossible.
After a long silence, one of the diggers picked up a jar full of spiders, worms and a wide assortment of insects. He removed the lid and showed the wonderful contents to the scoffing visitors.
Then he said quietly and confidently, "Even if we don't dig all the way through the earth, look what we found along the way!"
Their goal was far too ambitious, but it did cause them to dig. And that is what a goal is for-to cause us to move in the direction we have chosen; in other words, to set us to digging!
But not every goal will be fully achieved. Not every job will end successfully. Not every relationship will endure. Not every hope will come to pass. Not every love will last. Not every endeavor will be completed. Not every dream will be realized.
But when you fall short of your aim, perhaps you can say, "Yes, but look at what I found along the way! Look at the wonderful things which have come into my life because I tried to do something!"
It is in the digging that life is lived. And I believe it is joy in the journey, in the end, that truly matters.

Can you still find this day, my dear, among your possessions?
Among the souvenirs of your trips to faraway lands, the textbooks from those halcyon days when you walked the hallowed portals of that engineering college, the cassettes whose covers were left behind after one of those bacchanalian sessions in the hostel, the photographs of those classmates whose names you can't remember? Or is it hidden in the darkness, put out of sight along with the book you bought but never read, the gift you never quite found a use for and the letters you never finished or sent.
I can still find it here, in the city, in the house which you have never visited, in the kitchen where I have imaginary conversations with you. It is here even when I am not, for I go out now, leaving the light on and the music playing, so I can return home to the illusion of company.
I am probably better off now. Without secrets to keep from my parents. Without someone to come between me and my friends, me and my pastimes, me and my work, me and my sensible, understandable, utilitarian life. The life that I keep trying, keep failing to bring in line with the expectations that I keep trying, keep failing to make my own.
It is not that I always feel like this, sometimes I yearn for those days when tears and laughter both came easy. Those easy and quick transitions from ecstasy to despair. When a compliment could keep my mind occupied for hours on end and a harsh word could prick like a pin the same skin which now seems dry and insensitive. Like probably millions around the world, I look outside the window of a crowded bus, lost in my own thoughts and wonder how it could happen to me.
Was I not supposed to be different from the rest? Not for the silly schoolgirl infatuation with the football team captain or the fascination with the good for nothing, pot-smoking aspiring poet. Ours was a mature friendship that had blossomed into more. How could I feel a pang of envy then, when you lent a helping hand to another girl, when you spoke about someone who's far away and about to be married, when you were so involved in the book you were reading that you did not notice that we never met all day?
When we decided that it had been too long and that we should meet, I carefully started preparing a package for you. A small poem, that book you always wanted but never found, an old photograph and a bar of chocolate for us to share. What would I wear and what would we talk about? The package still remains in my drawer waiting for the phone to ring again.
It was a rainy Sunday afternoon when we sat in my tiny hostel room, discussing capitalism and campus gossip with equal fervor. When it seemed as if those conversations could last forever and we would never tire of them. When Joni Mitchell sang "California" seven times on continuous play before we thought of getting out.
Then one day suddenly we were looking for each other. You were always somewhere else, doing something else and strangely enough so was I. Those new people I met on that trip and that junior guy who loved the same movies I do. That girl next door who took math lessons from you. My room was almost always locked and yours was no different. We seemed to have discovered a whole world outside of ourselves all of a sudden. The tragedy was we had also lost the world we had before.
Then came the rescue mission. The loud fights in the hostel wing, the long silences and the desperate angry notes. Frustration, anxiety and even love revealing itself in the ugliest possible ways. Then indifference, complacency and resignation. Calm, dispassionate discussions on how we could stay friends. The decision that we should always let the other know when we would be around. That's when I started leaving those yellow post-its on the door. Those yellow post-its which by the time I came back would have your coordinates that I never used. If we had all of them now, they would be telling this tale a lot better than I am now.
Back home, I still continue leaving those post-its to this day, hoping that someone will write their whereabouts on them as well

Night after night, she came to tuck me in, even long after my childhood years. Following her longstanding custom, she'd lean down and push my long hair out of the way, then kiss my forehead.
I don't remember when it first started annoying me — her hands pushing my hair that way. But it did annoy me, for they felt work-worn and rough against my young skin. Finally, one night, I shouted out at her, "Don't do that anymore —your hands are too rough!" She didn't say anything in reply. But never again did my mother close out my day with that familiar expression of her love.
Time after time, with the passing years, my thoughts returned to that night. By then I missed my mother's hands, missed her goodnight kiss on my forehead. Sometimes the incident seemed very close, sometimes far away. But always it lurked, in the back of my mind.
Well, the years have passed, and I'm not a little girl anymore. Mom is in her mid-seventies, and those hands I once thought to be so rough are still doing things for me and my family. She's been our doctor, reaching into a medicine cabinet for the remedy to calm a young girl's stomach or soothe the boy's scraped knee. She cooks the best fried chicken in the world... gets stains out of blue jeans like I never could...
Now, my own children are grown and gone. Mom no longer has Dad, and on special occasions, I find myself drawn next door to spend the night with her. So it was late on Thanksgiving Eve, as I slept in the bedroom of my youth, a familiar hand hesitantly run across my face to brush the hair from my forehead. Then a kiss, ever so gently, touched my brow.In my memory, for the thousandth time, I recalled the night my young voice complained, "Don't do that anymore — your hands are too rough!" Catching Mom's hand in hand, I blurted out how sorry I was for that night. I thought she'd remember, as I did. But Mom didn't know what I was talking about. She had forgotten — and forgiven — long ago.
That night, I fell asleep with a new appreciation for my gentle mother and her caring hands. And the guilt that I had carried around for so long was nowhere to be found.

How artificial intelligence changes our life
Artificial intelligence is developing quicker than before. I believe one day, artificial intelligence will be one of the most important concepts likes mobile, car and house. The artificial intelligence may change our life.Firstly, may be we need't do housework any more. The robot can wash the dishes, clean the floor and even help us make the bed. Secondly, the artificial intelligence could be a search website like google, baidu. When we have any trouble, just ask it the question and it will give you the suitable answer. Thirdly, we will not come to school only stay at home to learn from the robot. Fourly, the artificial intelligence will be used as the war, which makes the world become more dangerous than before and this is the outcoming as well. Finally, I guess may be the artificial intelligence can make love with human and help them deliver child.I think the era of artificial intelligence will come sooner and later.
