Then I said to my mind, "Show me your anger now." One by one, my life's every incident of anger rose and made itself known. Every injustice, every betrayal, every loss, every rage. I saw them all, one by one, and I acknowledged their existence. I felt each piece of anger com-pletely, as if it were happening for the first time, and then I would say, "Come into my heart now. You can rest there. It's safe now. It's over. I love you." This went on for hours, and I swung between these mighty poles of opposite feelings—experiencing the anger thoroughly for one bone-rattling moment, and then experiencing a total coolness, as the anger entered my heart as if through a door, laid itself down, curled up against its brothers and gave up fighting.
Then came the most difficult part. "Show me your shame," I asked my mind. Dear God, the horrors that I saw then. A pitiful parade of all my failings, my lies, my selfishness, jealousy, arrogance. I didn't blink from any of it, though. "Show me your worst," I said. When I tried to invite these units of shame into my heart, they each hesitated at the door, saying, "No—you don't want me in there . . . don't you know what I did?" and I would say, "I do want you. Even you. I do. Even you are welcome here. It's OK. You are forgiven. You are part of me. You can rest now. It's over."
I knew then that this is how God loves us all and receives us all, and that there is no such thing in this universe as hell, except maybe in our own terrified minds. Because if even one broken and limited human being could experience even one such episode of absolute forgiveness and acceptance of her own self, then imagine—just imagine!—what God, in all His eternal compassion, can forgive and accept.
I also knew somehow that this respite of peace would be temporary. I knew that I was not yet finished for good, that my anger, my sadness and my shame would all creep back eventu-ally, escaping my heart, and occupying my head once more. I knew that I would have to keep dealing with these thoughts again and again until I slowly and determinedly changed my whole life. And that this would be difficult and exhausting to do. But my heart said to my mind in the dark silence of that beach: "I love you, I will never leave you, I will always take care of you." That promise floated up out of my heart and I caught it in my mouth and held it there, tasting it as I left the beach and walked back to the little shack where I was staying. I found an empty notebook, opened it up to the first page—and only then did I open my mouth and speak those words into the air, letting them free. I let those words break my silence and then I allowed my pencil to document their colossal statement onto the page: "I love you, I will never leave you, I will always take care of you."
Those were the first words I ever wrote in that private notebook of mine, which I would carry with me from that moment forth, turning back to it many times over the next two years, always asking for help—and always finding it, even when I was most deadly sad or afraid. And that notebook, steeped through with that promise of love, was quite simply the only reason I survived the next years of my life. Eat, Pray, Love

Starting a new book is a risk, just like falling in love. You have to commit to it. You open thepages knowing a little bit about it maybe, from the back or from a blurb on the front. But whoknows, right? Those bits and pieces aren’t always right.
Sometimes people advertise themselves as one thing and then when you get deep into it yourealize that they’re something completely different. Either there was some good marketingattached to a terrible book, or the story was only explained in a superficial way and once youreach the middle of the book, you realize there’s so much more to this book than anyone couldhave ever told you.
You start off slow. The story is beginning to unfold. You’re unsure. It’s a big commitmentlugging this tome around. Maybe this book won’t be that great but you’ll feel guilty aboutputting it down. Maybe it’ll be so awful you’ll keep hate-reading or just set it down immediatelyand never pick it up again. Or maybe you’ll come back to it some night, drunk or lonely —needing something to fill the time, but it won’t be any better than it was when you first startedreading it.
Maybe you’re worn out. You’ve read tons of books before. Some were just light weights on aKindle or Nook, no big deal really. Others were Infinite Jest-style burdens, heavy on your backor in your purse. Weighing you down all the time. Maybe you’ve taken some time off fromreading because the last few books you read just weren’t worth it. Do they even write new, great works of literature anymore? Maybe that time you fell in love with a book before will justnever happen for you again. Maybe it’s a once in a lifetime feeling and you’re never gonna find itagain.
Or something exciting could happen. Maybe this will become your new favorite book. That’salways a possibility right? That’s the beauty of risk. The reward could actually be worth it. Youinvest your time and your brain power in the words and what you get back is empathy and anew understanding and pure wonder.
How could someone possibly know you like this? Some stranger, some author, some character. It’s like they’re seeing inside your soul. This book existed inside some book store, on a shelf, maybe handled by other people and really it was just waiting for you pick it up and crack thespine. It was waiting to speak to you. To say, “You are not alone.”
You just want more of the story. You want to keep reading, maybe everything this author’sever written. You wish it would never end. The closer it gets to the smaller side of the pages, the slower you read, wanting to savor it all. This book is now one of your favorites forever. Youwill always wish you could go back to never having read it and pick it up fresh again, but alsoyou know you’re better for having this close, inside you, covering your heart and mind.
Once you get in deep enough, you know you could never put this book down.

Forget your chat-up lines and ditch the expensive aftershave, because scientists say the secret to dating is far simpler.
The key to finding love is all in a name, it seems。
A team of researchers has discovered that people with names earlier in the alphabet are more likely to be romantically successful。
After carrying out an extensive search of studies in the fields of psychology and sociology, as well as computer, behavioural, and neurocognitive sciences, the scientists from Queen Mary University of London found that names are vital for first impressions。
Their study, published in the Evidence Based Medicine journal, suggests that having a name starting with the letters A to M is just as important as the picture you choose for an online dating profile。
Professor Khalid Khan, who led the research, said: 'Alphabetically ordering things has been around for centuries。
'Research has shown that this accident of initial letters has important influence on outcomes。
'A always comes first. Peoples are drawn to those at the top of any listing。
'Applied to online dating this means that those at the top of the listing get first bite of the attention from potential love-interests and so have a higher chance of being matched.'
'There is something in human nature that draws us to those at the top of any listing and this phenomenon, though not fully explained, has an impact on online dating. Perhaps we subconsciously give higher value to things that appear to be at the top of the pile.'
He added: 'Research shows that people with names in top half alphabet paper to do better in education compared to those in lower half, on average. Amazon and Apple, successful companies begin with A。
'This does not mean that things lower down in the alphabet don't have a chance - Zara is a successful company too - it is just that on average their chances are lower.'

Whatever I am writing - is based on my personalexperience with life. It’s just like life has become abook or certification for me. Similar I found with Mr.M K Gandhi "The Father of Nation? India". He wroteabout his experience with truth. I am inspiredbecause writing is best way to express all yourfeelings that you can’t do elsewhere.
Till date? I am unmarried. I have just started mycareer as an associate consultant. I believeconsultant acts as a confusing mechanism to aclient. Provide options not a decision. Well I amstraightforward and honest. I have doubt to what extend and how long will I continue with allfalsehood of business. Anyway this is expression time.
My elder sister is a center of my life. I never find absence of love, friendship or guardian till Iam with my sister. Once I was far? The first letter I learned was "L" and word was "Love". Evenyou start loving your age girl in your college days. It is becoming fashion! Get a bike? Girl friendis free. Cost is only petrol. You be at Canteen, no class, all types of festivals and days incampus.
Sometime I was worried about my common man inside. I never did in my graduation. I hadgiven lift only to one girl who was my enemy but by default she was a member of my industrialproject study.
Well I have not so many words to express my love and friendship. You generally express whatyou have rather you missed. Right?
First of all I dislike thinking about love as any physical act. What we call romanticism. Romeoand Juliet? A Great Love Story. Well it was. But it is our style to misunderstand everything. (Imay also do same thing!) But Thomas Moore says, "Romantic love is an illusion. Most of usdiscover this truth at the end of a love affair or else when the sweet emotions of love lead usinto marriage and then turn down their flames." I 100 % agree with the statement.
At this moment? I get another tragedy. Few of my friends were really in deep love. I don’t knowits meaning please! Graduation was over. Those who were unable to create theirfuture, including them too. There is a French proverb: "Love makes the time pass. Time makeslove pass." It is ok to love someone else if you know how to love yourself first! Understand lovefirst. Love is not a girl for a friend and vice versa. It is not a feeling. It is not an attraction.Definitely love is not a time pass at all.
There is an edge in our region: "Never wait for bus, train and a girl. If you missed one, anotherwill come." But Gentleman “What are you doing at all?" You have to catch one.
It is really tough to define love for one. We all have different meanings of love. It depends onpsychology of different minds. For any Road to Romeo? Seating on cross roads and lookingpassionately thinking all nightmare dreams is love. For any highly knowledgeable studying atcollege impressing classmates and taking city round just like a guide is a love. For any typicalclerk marrying a caste girl and seating on seashore? Planning future having number of childrenis true love. So many examples!
On the same situation Leo Tolstoy says "If so many men, so many minds, certainly so manyhearts, so many kinds of love."
Well let me express few words on my experience. My love is always based on expectation oftrue friendship. For most of people family love may be messy, clinging, and of an annoying andrepetitive pattern. But it is not of my case. I find true meaning of love when I put my firststep far from my sister.
You know - Sisters touch your heart in ways no other could. Sisters share... their hopes, theirfears, their love, everything they have. Real friendship springs from their special bonds.
My weakness is I easily fall in love. And probably I love to write on love although I have been apoor unsuccessful story. But I am one of the luckiest fellows who have got love since birth inadvance.
I always look a person like my sister in a girl whom I love. Sorry I am attaching love with girl.Love has no physical entity. Still let’s take a girl, my age girl. 2-3 years above and downdifference is ok. Out of my life’s six choices, most of which are "Salwar Kameez" (an Indiandress material) just like my sister. They were bold enough to talk at the same time able tounderstand situation. In short similar to my sister.
What does it mean? We love people on the basis of some attributes. Even you check out withyour experience. Most of us will agree with me finding same attributes or characteristics in aperson whom we loved.
I don’t know what is Love? I don’t know what is Friendship? I don’t know anything? I just wanta person who can understand my feelings,my nature,my problems and me. If I want to meether or if I want to talk to her, I don’t need a reason. Why do I insist to get my love that canmarry me? because I will not need a permission of her husband if I want to talk to her.
We rarely understand but always feel it that love, friend and marriage have least degree ofcontrol on over physical body rather our mind. Your love is your strength. It is the basis ofyour existence.
"Love is something far more than desire for sexual intercourse; it is the principal means ofescape from the loneliness that afflicts most men and women throughout the greater part oftheir lives." Says Bertrand Russell.
Your love may hurt you any day, as everything that comes has to go. Even my sister will getmarried one day. My friend whom I loved said she wished to be, as friends rather love. I amhappy because she talks to me whenever I need. I have not done anything for her. There aremany people who dislike me where I have few people who like me without any reason.
We always need to thank for giving such beautiful and kind relations in life. If you are in age of12 to 28, you will feel it. Once you pass it, you will understand the reality that I don’t knowyet.
Well if you are meeting to your true love today, convey my best wishes!

Those in a serious relationship have long been warned about the dangers of the seven-year itch. But research has found couples risk running into trouble far earlier - thanks to the seven-month slouch.
This is the point at which we stop trying quite so hard to impress our new love and start revealing all the bad habits that have so far remained hidden.
These can include unsavoury bodily functions such as breaking wind in front of an other half, nose picking or letting armpits go unshaven. Before the milestone, most couples enjoy an extended honeymoon period where both go out of their way to keep well-groomed and observe good manners.
However, it seems once a couple has been together for around seven months they decide they really do love each other and start to let go.
According to a survey of 1,000 adults, the seven-month point is when couples are most likely to think it acceptable to stop paying attention to details such as shaving regularly and keeping nails trimmed while also putting their bad habits on display.
More than nine in ten women and almost as many men admit that they let themselves go once they are in the full throes of a romance.
However it seems men are far happier to relax their standards while more women told researchers from Remington that they never allow themselves to be seen looking hairy or too unkempt.
More than half of all adults said they make a special effort at the start of a relationship.
Once life with their other half becomes more routine, 48 per cent said they start breaking wind in front of their partner, 68 per cent will skip sexy clothes for unflattering outfits round the house and 58 per cent walk around naked.
Only 6 per cent said they would never let their partner see them be so uncouth.
There are also still some traditionalists out there, with 13 per cent saying they believe revealing bad habits is only acceptable after marriage.

Travel website Tripadvisor.com has announced the winners of its 2011 Travelers' Choice Food and Wine Destinations awards, with New Orleans, Florence and Bangkok taking top honors in the United States, Europe and Asia, respectively. For many, Bangkok edging out Hong Kong to claim top prize in the Asia category comes as a surprise, given Thailand's high taxation rate on imported wine, and all importedalcohol.
Though Bangkok might be making great strides in wine appreciation, it's definitely the food and not the drink that earned this street food mega-city its top spot on the list.

The true story behind a well-known piece of art:
Back in the fifteenth century, in a tiny village near Nuremberg, lived a family with eighteenchildren. Eighteen! In order merely to keep food on the table for this mob, the father and headof the household, a goldsmith by profession, worked almost eighteen hours a day at his tradeand any other paying chore he could find in the neighborhood. Despite their seemingly hopelesscondition, two of Albrecht Durer the Elder's children had a dream. They both wanted to pursuetheir talent for art, but they knew full well that their father would never be financially able tosend either of them to Nuremberg to study at the Academy.
After many long discussions at night in their crowded bed, the two boys finally worked out apact. They would toss a coin. The loser would go down into the nearby mines and, with hisearnings, support his brother while he attended the academy. Then, when that brother whowon the toss completed his studies, in four years, he would support the other brother at theacademy, either with sales of his artwork or, if necessary, also by laboring the mines.
They tossed a coin on a Sunday morning after church. Albrecht Durer won the toss and wentoff to Nuremberg. Albert went down into the dangerous mines and, for the next four years, financed his brother, whose work at the academy was almost an immediate sensation.Albrecht's etchings, his woodcuts, and his oils were far better than those of most of hisprofessors, and by the time he graduated, he was beginning to earn considerable fees for hiscommissioned works.
When the young artist returned to his village, the Durer family held a festive dinner on theirlawn to celebrate Albrecht's triumphant homecoming. After a long and memorable meal, punctuated with music and laughter, Albrecht rose from his honored position at the head of thetable to drink a toast to his beloved brother for the years of sacrifice that had enabled Albrechtto fulfill his ambition. His closing words were, "And now, Albert, blessed brother of mine, now itis your turn. Now you can go to Nuremberg to pursue your dream, and I will take care of you."
All heads turned in eager expectation to the far end of the table where Albert sat, tearsstreaming down his pale face, shaking his lowered head from side to side while he sobbed andrepeated, over and over, "No ...no ...no ...no."
Finally, Albert rose and wiped the tears from his cheeks. He glanced down the long table at thefaces he loved, and then, holding his hands close to his right cheek, he said softly, "No,brother. I cannot go to Nuremberg. It is too late for me. Look... look what four years in themines has done to my hands! The bones in every finger have been smashed at least once, andlately I have been suffering from arthritis so badly in my right hand that I cannot even hold aglass to return your toast, much less make delicate lines on parchment or canvas with a penor a brush. No, brother ... for me it is too late."
More than 450 years have passed. By now, Albrecht Durer's hundreds of masterful portraits, pen and silver-point sketches, watercolors, charcoals, woodcuts, and copper engravings hang inevery great museum, but the odds are great that you, like most people, are familiar with onlyone of Albrecht Durer's works. More than merely being familiar with it, you very well may have areproduction hanging in your home or office.
One day, to pay homage to Albert for all that he had sacrificed, Albrecht Durer painstakinglydrew his brother's abused hands with palms together and thin fingers stretched skyward. Hecalled his powerful drawing simply "Hands," but the entire world almost immediately opened theirhearts to his great masterpiece and renamed his tribute of love "The Praying Hands."
The next time you see a copy of that touching creation, take a second look. Let it be yourreminder, if you still need one, that no one -no one ever makes it alone!
