1. “I'm not the best person to help on this. Why don't you try X?”
If you feel that you can not contribute much to the task, have no time or lack the resources, do not beat around the bush! Let the person know it up front. This, however, does not mean that you can not be helpful. You can still refer the person to a lead they can follow up on.
2. “I'm sorry but last time I did ___, I had a negative experience.”
This is a life-saver for me every time I have to explain to people that I do not eat meat. Before I would say that I was a vegetarian, but for some reason this explanation has never worked on hospitable Italian grandmothers. They would try to feed me bacon, sausage and octopuses (yuck!) explaining it with “this is not meat” or “I just put a little in this dish”。
Now I simply say, “I'm sorry, but I can not eat meat. Last time I did, I had a terrible headache.” And it works like a charm, because no one wants to hurt you on purpose.
The focus here is not on what you want or do not want to do, but on your previous badexperience.
3. “I'd love to do this, but ____”
This is a great way of saying that you like the idea, you are willing to help, but you just can not do it at the moment.
Note: Just do not go into a lengthy justification of why you can not do it.
First, it is not necessary. Time is a limited resource and when you say “yes” to one task, you have to say “no” to other opportunities that might be more important, urgent and beneficial to you at the moment. Second, offering a lengthy explanation makes you sound guilty and unsure, so people might push further to see if you will agree.
4.“This sounds interesting, but I have too much on my plate at the moment.”
When you start your disagreement with a compliment: “this sounds interesting”, it makes the person less defensive and gives you a validreason to decline “I have too much on my plate at the moment”。

1. I am sorry to turn you down.
Turn you down 就是拒绝别人的要求。 I am sorry to turn you down. I am sorry but I have to turn you down.
注意可别把 turn you down 和 let you down 搞混了,这两个可是完全不同的意思。turn down 表示拒绝,而 let down 则表示让人家失望,例如 Because I love you 这首老歌中所唱的:Because I love you, love you, love you, so don't you let me down.www.ryedu.net
2. I am really not in the mood.
I don't have the mood. 或是 I am not in the mood. I am sorry. I am really not in the mood.
3. I really want to, but I got hundreds of things to do.
No, I don't want to. 试着用这种比较好的说法:先说 I really want to,或是 I really love to,再接着说 but I got hundreds of things to do。

和 "Not in your life." (注意一下,"In your dreams."
A: Can you lend me two thousand dollars?
B: In your dreams.
A: Do you want to be my girlfriend?
B: Not in your life.

When companies have different employees on the same job and one of them is paid differently, many unfairness issues surface. "It can happen in any 'open shop' that differentiates pay for any reason (seniority, performance, etc.)," says Dauphinais. You could run the risk of alienating valued colleagues if they learn you earn more for what they perceive to be the same job.

Whenever two people partner to accomplish a common goal, a unique relationship is formed. Effort, intensity, time and togetherness create a potent combination, often vital to completing a given assignment. This sense of connection can, in turn, lead to intimacy.
A partnering relationship requires joint effort. The parties involved must combine theirefforts to accomplish a common goal. They strive together, brainstorm together, and sometimes even sweat together. Often, the length of the task requires a give-and-takeeffort, with one partner switching off with the other as stamina or inspiration swings from person-to-person. Through this effort swing, each person learns to trust and rely on the other.
The synergy that combined efforts provide can be truly amazing. By joining forces, two people can work harder, work faster, and accomplish more than either could alone. The multiplying effect of joint effort can lead to the conclusion that something is special or unique in the pairing. Conversely, the conclusion can be drawn that without the other partner, nothing can be achieved. A dependency upon the partnering has then beenestablished.
In an intense, time-pressured partnership, caution may be thrown to the wind. A person who usually leaves the office at a specific time each day may stay late. A person who is careful to keep a respectful distance from a colleague may allow that zone to constrict under the pressure. In an emergency, whether real or created, people may compromiseor alter guidelines that normally govern their behavior.
The intensity created in the work situation can mirror the intensity we experience in sexual relationships. The feelings of attachment and unity can be similar enough to cause confusion. Even if the conscious mind does not acknowledge the connection, often the subconscious mind will. One or both of the partners may find themselves suddenly considering the other from a sexual point of view.
Intensive, emergency-oriented tasks can fast-forward relationships from work to personal. While intensity tends to blast through relationship boundaries, time tends to erode those same boundaries. The more time people spend together, the more comfortable they may become with each other. The more comfortable people become, the more they share. The more they share, the more they begin to view themselves as a couple, partnered together. They begin to see themselves within a relational context. Coworkers may reinforce this perception of the two being a “couple” by the joint recognition and praise given to the partners for their achievement.
In workplace relationships like the one just described, the time may come when one or the other party will loosen up too much, allowing a boundary to slip. If both partners are not careful to continually reestablish boundaries to keep their relationship within a certain framework, these “slips” can lead to one party beginning to view the partnership as more than just a work connection.
One of the primary arenas for male-female interaction in today's world is the workplace. Out of the average person’s waking hours, a large majority of this time is spent at work or in the office. When you combine this extended time together with the intensity and partnering caused by work-related tasks, it’s no wonder that the workplace breeds romance. Therefore, as co-workers co-mingle, it is up to each individual to set their own set of boundaries in order to keep workplace romance at bay.

As your company's representative, your phone manners should be impeccable. Too many workers who are abrupt on the phone rationalize their behavior by saying it's OK or even expected.
There are several accepted ways to answer a telephone at work. You can simply say "hello" or you can say your name, as in "June Johnson speaking." You don't need to say the company's name if a receptionist or a secretary has already done so. Try to speak in a pleasure, unrushed voice. If you are rushed and can't talk, it's better to say this and make plans to call back later. Don't rustle papers or work while you are speaking on the phone. If you are really too distracted to speak, then reschedule the call.

1.Unacceptable
3.Concern
4.Great
分析:刚才说了,老外打小受教育要多夸人、少批评人,所以老外一天到晚把 “It’s great!”, “You did agreat job!”
5.F.Y.I
6.Issue
7.Aggressive
8.Involve
9.RESEND!
10.highlight
11.my understanding is...
12.I’m very disappointed...
