两周的商务英语实训,学习的主要内容有:
一、练习国际音标,纠正发音
(1)元音:发音时声带振动且气流在通道上不受发音器官阻挡。有:[i:]、[i]、[e]、[?]、[ɑ:]、[u:]、[ɑi:]等20个音标。元音可分为:单元音、双元音两大类。单元音:舌位不移动,在发音过程中没有摩擦,不受发音器官的任何阻碍。双元音:发音时要注意发音圆满,舌型和唇形都要到位。
(2)辅音:发音时气流在通路上受到发音器官阻挡。有:[p]、[t]、[k]、[θ]、[z]、[r]、[j]等28个音标。辅音可分为:清辅音、浊辅音。发音时声带不振动、送气的叫清辅音;发音时声带振动、不送气的叫浊辅音。
二、商务活动中各种场合的注意事项、常用句子
1、Interview
(1)注意事项:面试是雇主为选择合适人选而设计的,也是面试者给潜在的雇主留下的第一印象。面试者通过一些简单的事情,可以表达出自己的专业特长、自信,给人留下积极主动的印象,确保面试的成功。肢体语言:握手要坚定有力,语音表达要清晰有力,保持眼神的接触;自信表达:尽量不要使自己受反面语言的影响,不要因为缺少经验而抱歉,应该指出自己有能力去学习;穿着和外貌:头发整洁,指甲干净整齐,擦亮鞋子,熨平整衣服,不要穿破的脏的皱的衣服,不要戴很多首饰;展示可信度:面试应确保按时到达,或提前几分钟到达,让雇主知道自己是一个能按时完成工作、与同事友好相处、值得信赖的人。

(1)注意事项:所有的商务活动都是建立在双方相互信任大的基础上的,接待和拜访是彼此之间相互了解的第一步,为了建立良好的商务关系,必须特别关注其中的细节。问候:问候应该友好和热烈,问候老朋友时说”Hi, there!”,但与第一次见面的人打招呼,必须很正规说”How do you do?”;介绍:一般都是把男性介绍给女性,把年轻的介绍给年老的,在正式场合,通常会在姓名前添加”Mr.”、”Miss”等头衔;握手:握对方手时,力度要适中,不能太紧,也不能太松,同时要直视对方,以表示坦率和诚心;名片:与新客户见面时,应该彼此交换名片,递名片时要用双手,不能用一只手,接到对方名片时,可以先默读一遍,不确定是否读的准确,可以请教对方,如果对方忘记给你名片,可以问”How can I contact you ?”/”How can I get in touch with you ?”

(1)注意事项:会议主要包括:准备工作、会议组织、灵感启发、结论总结。准备工作是要确保所开的会议有一个明确的、一定的目标和议程,包括房间的预定、饮食、音频视频设备及要提醒的事。会议组织是负责或主持会议的人或团体,要确保各项议程按时和按计划进行。灵感启发是大家把注意力集中在细节上,抑制了与会者的自发性和积极性,通过有策略地制造讨论机会,吸引大家思考。结论总结是与会者必须完成了某些任务,作为未来大策略的一个部分,在下次会议上得到重述和概括。

2016年BEC商务英语考试马上就要到来,下面读文网小编为大家带来2016年BEC商务英语考试时间,希望对你有所帮助。
笔试当天下午或者第二天上午进行口语考试。其先后顺序是按照姓名首字母排列的。一定要注意自己的编号。口语考试程序如下:
1.被叫号的人进入候考室候考。
2.在候考室内进行分组。由叫号老师分组,一般是14组,28个人同时候考。
需要注意的是:候考大约有10-15分钟时间,要耐心等待。利用这段时间你可以和搭档再练练口语,分配好口语第三部分话题任务,定下来由谁先开头,记住两个人别争吵。
口语考试采取面试形式,试题由三部分构成,是有关商务话题的简短谈话和讨论。考场内有两位考官,一位负责提问, 一位负责评分。评分的考官(assessor)按以下四个标准给分:语法和词汇、谈话组织、发音、互动式交流。提问的考官(interlocutor)对整个测试给个总分。
考试分两个阶段进行。第一阶段为笔试,包括阅读、写作和听力,第二阶段为口试。考试时间分别为:
BEC1阅读、写作70分钟,听力30分钟,口试约10分钟;
BEC2阅读、写作90分钟、听力35分钟、口试约12分钟;

英语听力的提高就在于你精听了多少,尽可能多掌握词汇,尤其是商务词汇,无论是在什么情况下遇到的,这样对听力和写作还有阅读都大有帮助。
口语要每天练习,如果不练嘴就会生,想说的东西说不出来,如果坚持说半个月呢,往后就容易多了,也不再觉得说有多么困难,可能最开始不是很流利,意思表达的也不准确,但是坚持练习肯定会有很大提高。这里说口语可不是读读课文那么简单,如果没有PARTNAER, You just talk to yourself but you must prepare well before you make a presentation. After the speech, give yourself some time to review what you said and to see if there is something need changing. 所有的材料都要精练,可以不用练的太多,因为很多东西都是触类旁通的。
另外备考的心态很重要,要轻松一些,不要想除了学习之外太多的东西,功夫下到了,BEC高级也就过了,平和一些,自然一些,抱着获取知识的态度,结果肯定差不了。千万别心焦气躁,别管别人,按照自己的节奏,把握好。
BEC的听力与国内考试的听力不太一样的一点是,语音构成复杂:英音居多,占据整个听力的70% 上下,其余的25% 为美音,还有5% 的澳音;在商务的背景中出现;有背景音,比如接电话的题目,势必有一个人声音较轻,不容易捕捉;访谈类 的题目比较长,等等,但是我们知道,听力部分,BEC是给放两遍音频的,这应该说会很有帮助,因为BEC的题目设置和国内听力考试的题目设置不同,有细节的,也有被隐藏起来的,但是总体而言细节题居多,只不过是变换了样子出来而已,所以相 对于国内听力考试的题目,"只给一次,二次浪费"的现象,BEC的听力两遍还是有效果的,比一遍强很多。

这是一段讲述到中国去做生意应该注意些什么文化问题的小段落。 原文中的句子是这么出现的,第一句:it is imperative that you do extensive preparatory work. 飘红的部分我们看到了明显的特征,就是同义词的替换,这在商务英语中的应用非常广泛,词汇的丰富变化在此可见一斑。Imperative 和essential属于近义词,同时可以跟随虚拟语气,表示基本的,紧急的。
第二句的原句是:the Chinese find it most discourteous if you are late for meeting. 这个discourteous 和卷面上的extremely rude 同义。
第三句的原句是:To begin with, all those present will swap business cards in itself a veryimportant ceremony. Swap 和exchange 同义,互换名片之意。

所以我们发现这类题目中的重要特点:正确答案隐藏在同义词的后面,填空的时候注意力要集中在空前,多数情况下空格前面的词是原文的同义词,所以关注空格前,线索在空格前面,反应要快。
填写听写的时候,记得要用大写字母誊写在答题纸上,词组中如果有虚词,可以忽略,拼写不可以出错,每个空填写单词不超过三个。要求填写听到的确切信息,不可以同义替换。 在这一部分的考题中,要求我们同学平时就有比较好的写的基本功,单词拼写要准确无误,所以我们不建议大家平时多用电脑工作,写文章,尽量自己动笔写,提升基本写作能力。

BEC 2 口语考试总时间约为14分钟(一组两个考生)。

剑桥BEC口语考试对很多考生来说比较难对付,为此考试吧在这里给大家讲讲BEC口语应试技巧,希望对大家有所帮助。
1. Be well prepared.
做好充分准备是成功的基本保障,这包括对考试风格,模式,题型和最新动态的熟悉,更包括大量的、有针对性的口语练习。但必须指出一点,准备的过程不应是背诵的过程。很多考生对自己在面试中的表现感觉良好,最终却对自己出乎意料的低分大吃一惊,百思不得其解,其实原因很简单:考官对考生背诵事先准备好的答案很反感,尤其当他/她听到同一种答案被很多考生重复使用时,那种令人作呕的感觉可想而知。在考官看来,Using a prepared answer is similar to cheating! 所以给准备BEC考试的考生一个忠告:Over prepared is often as harmful as under prepared.
2. Have an easy but concentrated state of mind.
心态对于任何事的成功都是至关重要的,语言测试,尤其是一对一的口语测试更是如此。良好的心态可以使人超水平发挥;糟糕的心态却可以让人遭遇滑铁卢。在以往的BEC考试中,相当数量的考生是因为心态不好,主要是过度紧张导致失利的。应该说适度的紧张还是有益的。我们应该充分重视BEC口语考试,但没有理由惧怕它。调整心态,放松心情的几种方法:
1) 尽量把参加BEC面试想象成拜访一个朋友,而那个朋友有一些问题不明白,需要向我请教。
2) 面试前一晚一定要睡个好觉,考前一餐不要吃得太饱,当然也不能空腹。
3) 进入面试房间前做几次深呼吸,然后告诉自己:既然我知道自己英语说得不错,别人也应该知道。
4) 把对方想象成考生,把自己想象成考官,当然该回答的问题还是要认真回答。
5) 如果知道自己的英语口语不太好就更没必要紧张了,紧张又不能帮我提高成绩,不如彻底放松,奋力一搏,说不定就能达到柳暗花明的效果。
3. Focus on your English instead of your ideas.
考官在考察我们的英文而不是我们的思想,没有必要为了一个我认为"闪光"的思想强迫自己说那些说不清的英文句子,重要的是把我有把握的英文说清楚。考官基本上不会在乎我们的观点,而是根据我们的英文打分的,况且我认为很精彩的一个观点很可能其他人已经重复过多次。一个蹩脚的复杂句并不比简明流畅的短句给考官的印象更好。在口语表达中我是主动的,没有人强迫我说什么。不会说的词就换另一个词;没有把握的句型就换另一个句子;讲不清的观点可以马上用另一种观点,甚至违心地说几句话也无妨,为了拿到分数豁出去了。记住:虽然语言只是表达思想的载体,但那是在生活中。在语言测试中,尤其是当我们的语言手段不足以表达我们复杂的思想时,一定要让思想服从于语言,只讲能讲得清的观点。
4. Use your common sense.
很多考生分丢得实在冤枉,当被问到一些常识性问题时,我们往往因为缺乏常识或不会利用常识而轻易放弃机会,白白丢分。要知道十几分钟的面试转瞬即逝,放弃一个问题可能就意味着分数降一个档次。有些问题被考生放弃并不是因为语言问题,而是他们认为对这个话题没有idea,不知道该说什么。例如被问到家乡最有趣的方面是什么时,很多考生吞吞吐吐说不出来,或者干脆说没什么有趣的。其实这是一个非常简单的问题,只要有一点常识就不难想到有太多话题可讲:自然风光、名胜古迹、地方风俗、历史、地理、风土人情、节日庆典、饮食习惯、教育制度、天气情况等等都可以成为谈论的话题。任何时候都不要放弃任何问题。Saying something is better than saying nothing!
5. Be calm in mind and active in attitude.
回答问题时要沉着,冷静,思路清晰,同时表现出主动参与、喜欢交谈的态度。首先要保证听懂问题再回答,不要听到之言片语就慌忙回答,随后发现误解了考官的问题或答非所问;更不要没听懂考官的问题就沉默不语。如果真没听懂也不要慌,可以先根据此时的谈话背景迅速寻找线索,把自己的猜测大胆讲出来,待对方证实后继续回答。例如:
Q: What's your line of business?
A: Excuse me, are you asking me to talk about my job?
