Annie, a neighbor's daughter, is a sweet girl but just a bit shy. Her birthday's coming, but she felt lonely and was not happy. Her family is quite small and poor, so there wouldn't be any birthday visitors.
I wanted to send her a special gift to make her happy. I got an idea! I bought some balloons, streamers(彩带), birthday hats, and so on at a store.

第三步,仔细校对所选答案。
做完所有题目后,再读一遍短文,逐一检查所有答案是否有误。如果有拿不定主意的答案,不要随意更改。一定要从原文中找到依据,方可更正。

一、感性学习明显大于理性要求。
小学四年级的学生说大不大,说小不小。他们虽对自己应该做什么,不应该做什么有了基本认识,但做起来还是不能完全用意志力来约束和管理自己。因此,我查阅了大量关于小学生心理的书籍。心理学研究表明:小学生的思维在很大程度上还主要是依靠直观的、具体的内容。小学生的记忆强度不大,尤其是低年级阶段。所以在教学英语时,应尽可能多地利用直观教学手段,如词卡、图卡、挂图、幻灯片、课件等等。我教学实践证明,越是教学手段丰富,学生的积极性就越高,学习的效果也就最明显,记忆的效果也最好。反过来,如果只是简单的、干巴巴地教给他们单词,然后翻译出单词的意思,不但当时他们不爱听,课堂气氛沉闷,而且记忆效果也不好。我在上课时,每堂课都要至少拿出两种或两种以上的教学用具,这样既节省了不必要的话语,而且学生也能从直观的实物挂图增加感性认识,有时还配上相关的动作,这样调动学生和各种感觉器官,使学生迅速有效地记忆,收到了良好的效果。
二、情感需求胜过严格要求。
他们对教师的态度,不是你对我越严格就越爱学,而是爱学他们喜欢的老师上的课。人对客观事物采取什么态度,决定于某一事物是否符合人的需要。而某事物是否符合人的需要,又取决于事物和个体需要之间存在的关系,随着这种关系的不同,人对客观事物就产生不同的态度,从而使人在主观上产生不同的情感体验。
小学三、四年级的学生需要的是能够与他们“玩”到一起的老师。需要在趣中求学。情感和认识过程是紧密联系着的,认识过程是产生情感的前提和基础,人只有在认识事物的过程中,才了解主客体之间的需求关系,从而产生情感。没有对事物的认识,就不能产生情绪和情感。人的情感不仅以认识过程为基础,而且反过来又会影响认识过程,构成人的认识世界之一。积极地、良好的情绪能激励感知的积极性,提高认识的效果和保持的牢固性,加强想象与思维的生动性和创造性。反之,消极的、不良的情感会影响认识的积极性,降低记忆和思维水平,产生消极的影响。
小学阶段,我们三、四年级学生的情感和情绪比较强烈,这就要求我们做教师的要备好课,使课堂上的教与学都生机勃勃,趣味盎然。同时他们对某一学科的内容产生兴趣可能是源于教师的表扬等。产生高度的热情,甚至非常激动。。此外,学生的情绪很大程度上还在于教师对他的注意程度。给予关注越多的学生,越有好的心情,以一种积极、愉快的心态投入到学习中来。教师对学生严格要求是必不可少的,但一定要有度,若使用过多的“你必须”、“你要不……就……”之类的话,不但不会收到良好的效果,而且还会适得其反。
