There is a saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Although eating properly is important, being kind to others is also good tor your health. Studies show that people who perform kind acts are more relaxed, happier, and healthier than other people.
In one study at Arizona State University researchers, found that many volunteers experienced a sudden feeling of joy, followed by a long period of calm, after performing a kind act. Mozart was one of the greatest composers who ever lived. He was born in Austria, in 1756. Even when he was very young, Mozart loved music. His father, who was the leader of an orchestra, was very happy that his son was so interested in music. When Mozart was three years old, he learned to play the harpsichord, which is a kind of piano. Mozart began to compose music at the age of five, and his father took him to play in front of the kings and queens of Europe.
At one concert, one of the violinists was missing from the orchestra. Mozart picked up a violin and played the music without a mistake. In the US and Britain, the slogan (标语) around colleges was “Save water. Shower with a friend.” Now, Wuhan University has come up with another system for the campus bathhouse. Before entering the bathhouse, students pay 1 yuan per minute with money or their student ID card. The clock starts moving the minute the tape is turned on. It stops when a button (按纽) is pressed for soap (香皂). An IC card reader at each tap shows the time. No money, no water. The benefit of the new system can be seen with the old system, the university used about 320 tones of water daily under the old system, but only 160 tons now.
Students have different opinions about the new system. Some say it is bad because bathing had become a race. Many people using it for the first time are not sure how long they need to shower. Some might be embarrassed if their time is up and they’re still covered in soap. They have to ask the bathhouse worker to help them buy extra (额外的) time.
“It’s a fault in the system that you can not buy extra time on the ID card,” said Ren, a freshman in Wuhan University. Step 2 听中。(while-listening)

一、感性学习明显大于理性要求。
小学四年级的学生说大不大,说小不小。他们虽对自己应该做什么,不应该做什么有了基本认识,但做起来还是不能完全用意志力来约束和管理自己。因此,我查阅了大量关于小学生心理的书籍。心理学研究表明:小学生的思维在很大程度上还主要是依靠直观的、具体的内容。小学生的记忆强度不大,尤其是低年级阶段。所以在教学英语时,应尽可能多地利用直观教学手段,如词卡、图卡、挂图、幻灯片、课件等等。我教学实践证明,越是教学手段丰富,学生的积极性就越高,学习的效果也就最明显,记忆的效果也最好。反过来,如果只是简单的、干巴巴地教给他们单词,然后翻译出单词的意思,不但当时他们不爱听,课堂气氛沉闷,而且记忆效果也不好。我在上课时,每堂课都要至少拿出两种或两种以上的教学用具,这样既节省了不必要的话语,而且学生也能从直观的实物挂图增加感性认识,有时还配上相关的动作,这样调动学生和各种感觉器官,使学生迅速有效地记忆,收到了良好的效果。
二、情感需求胜过严格要求。
他们对教师的态度,不是你对我越严格就越爱学,而是爱学他们喜欢的老师上的课。人对客观事物采取什么态度,决定于某一事物是否符合人的需要。而某事物是否符合人的需要,又取决于事物和个体需要之间存在的关系,随着这种关系的不同,人对客观事物就产生不同的态度,从而使人在主观上产生不同的情感体验。
小学三、四年级的学生需要的是能够与他们“玩”到一起的老师。需要在趣中求学。情感和认识过程是紧密联系着的,认识过程是产生情感的前提和基础,人只有在认识事物的过程中,才了解主客体之间的需求关系,从而产生情感。没有对事物的认识,就不能产生情绪和情感。人的情感不仅以认识过程为基础,而且反过来又会影响认识过程,构成人的认识世界之一。积极地、良好的情绪能激励感知的积极性,提高认识的效果和保持的牢固性,加强想象与思维的生动性和创造性。反之,消极的、不良的情感会影响认识的积极性,降低记忆和思维水平,产生消极的影响。
小学阶段,我们三、四年级学生的情感和情绪比较强烈,这就要求我们做教师的要备好课,使课堂上的教与学都生机勃勃,趣味盎然。同时他们对某一学科的内容产生兴趣可能是源于教师的表扬等。产生高度的热情,甚至非常激动。。此外,学生的情绪很大程度上还在于教师对他的注意程度。给予关注越多的学生,越有好的心情,以一种积极、愉快的心态投入到学习中来。教师对学生严格要求是必不可少的,但一定要有度,若使用过多的“你必须”、“你要不……就……”之类的话,不但不会收到良好的效果,而且还会适得其反。

做好课后及时的复习。
上完课的当天,必须做好当天的复习。 课后复习的有效方法不是一遍遍地看书或笔记,而是采取回忆式的复习:先把书,笔记合起来回忆上课老师讲的内容、例题、分析问题的思路、方法等(也可边想边在草稿本上写一写)尽量想得完整些。然后打开笔记与书本,对照一下还有哪些没记清的,把它补起来,就使得当天上课内容巩固下来,同时也就检查了当天课堂听课的效果如何,也为改进听课方法及提高听课效果提出必要的改进措施。
数学练习是必须的,而且还要有一定的量,否则就不能形成技能。我不提倡题海战术,有不少同学把提高数学成绩的希望寄托在大量做题上,我认为这是不妥当的,我认为对题要“精选”、“精做”、“做精”,做题的效益要高。做题的目的在于检查你学的知识,方法是否掌握得很好。如果你掌握得不准,甚至有偏差,那么多做题的结果,反而巩固了你的缺欠,因此,要在准确地把握住基本知识和方法的基础上做一定量的练习是必要的。
体验成功带来的喜悦,稳定学习的兴趣
成功会激发兴趣,失败则使兴趣经受考验。人人都有成功的渴望,即使一次小小的成功,对学生来讲也是一次莫大的鼓舞和激励。因此,教师要探索“依纲靠本,分层教学,逐步推进”的因材施教策略,依据学生的个体差别,关注每一个学生的发展,创造条件让不同层次的学生都能体验到成功的喜悦,对学生的点滴进步都给予肯定,从而使学生获得舒畅的心情,稳定的学习情绪,保持学习积极性。
对于优等生可以提出较高层次的要求,使他们逐渐的提高数学水平;对后进生,应让他们多回答一些简单的问题,为他们创造成功的机会,在成功的体验中享受发现的乐趣。老师尤其要抓住后进生的微小进步,及时的加以肯定和表扬,使他觉得数学不但不可怕,而且很有兴趣很容易学,从怕上数学课直至爱上数学课。实践证明,在困难之中得到了老师的关爱的学生,学习兴趣往往比他人增加的更快。

2逐句细读,边读边选
通读全文,弄懂大意后就可以在细读的基础上完成填空。这时要细心谨慎,逐句分析,每填一空都注意形义适当及前后呼应。做题时要善于发现和利用文中的信息,从字里行间寻求启示。在做选择题型“完形填空”时,往往会出现这样的问题:乍一看,所给的四个选项似乎都可以选。这是因为考生在解题时仅理解留空的句子,对上下文不予重视,或把这类题当作单项选择填空来做。
3通读全文,了解大意
完形填空题是一种有较高障碍性的阅读理解,首先应跳过空格通读全文,了解全文大意。通读一遍仍有模糊感觉,也很正常。考生切不可急躁,尽量稳定自己的情绪,再快速读一至两遍,注意短文中的关键词和中心句。
4语篇线索
有时完形填空的各选项同为表示一定逻辑关系或承接关系的词或词组。选项同为单词时首先看四个选项是否词性相同。若连词、副词混杂,先分析原句成分是否完整,可参考标点符号或其他连词的存在。确定所需的词性后,再判断逻辑题在原文中所涉及的范围。有时只是几个词之间的关系。常出现在完形填空部分的逻辑关系表示方式有连词、副词、语气词及插入语、词组(介词词组)等。
5梳理知识,正确运用
“完形填空”所要填的大都是一些常用的单词或短语,以动词、名词等实词为主。单独考查语法的题,尤其是那些不用看上下文就能选出正确答案的题很少出现。这就增加了试题的难度。有时候,试题所提供的选项迷惑性很大,如不认真辨析,很容易选错。这就要求同学们在学习中,重视对基础知识的学习和归纳,多做这类练习,提高解题能力。
6分析认识文章结构,理解领会文章各部分关系
只有明白文章结构,了解各段落之间的关系,才能加深对文章的理解。明白了各部分是如何为表现主题思想服务的,也就更容易把握带空的句子所需要的是什么内容,因此就更容易选准答案了。这要求考生具有扎实的英语词组、短语、习惯用法等英语搭配的知识,这对于理解文章的逻辑关系特别有利。文章的逻辑关系不外乎列举、原因、结果、让步、对照、补充、目的、条件等关系。
