One cold night, I was growing sick of my life in San Francisco. There I was walking home around one o’clock in the morning after a 1 practice at the theatre. With the opening night only a week away, I was still learning my lines by heart. I was having 2 handling my part-time job at the bank in the daytime and my acting at night at the same time. As I walked, I thought seriously about 3 both acting and San Francisco. I had 4 too much of city life.
As I walked down the 5 streets under the tall buildings, I felt very small and cold, so I began 6 both to keep warm and to keep away from any possible robbers. Very few people were still out except a few homeless people under blankets.
About a block from my 7 , I heard a sound behind me. I 8 quickly, half expecting to see someone with a knife or a gun. The street was empty. All I saw was a shining streetlight. Still, the noise had made me 9 ,so I started to run faster. Not until I reached my apartment building and unlocked the door did I 10 what the noise had been. It had been my wallet 11 to the sidewalk.
Suddenly I wasn’t cold or tired anymore. I ran out of the door and back to where I’d heard the noise. Although I searched the sidewalk 12 for 15 minutes, my wallet was nowhere to be found.
Just as I was about to quit the 13 , I heard the garbage truck stop to the sidewalk next to me. When a voice came from the inside, “Alisa Camacho?” I thought I was dreaming. How could this man know my name? The door opened and out jumped a small blonde man with an 14 look in his eyes. “Is this what you’re looking for?” He asked, holding up a wallet.
It was already 3 a.m. by the time I got into bed. I couldn’t get much sleep, but I had got my wallet back. I also had got back some 15 of city life. I realized the city couldn’t be a bad place as long as people were willing to help each other.

A
It is obvious that doctors recognize obesity as a health problem. So why is it so hard for them to talk to their patients about it?
The results of two surveys, one of primary care physicians and the other of patients, found that while most doctors want to help patients lose weight and think it is their responsibility to do so, they often don’t know what to say.
“So while doctors may tell patients they are overweight, the conversation often ends there,” said Christine C. Ferguson, director of the Stop Obesity Alliance. “Patients are not told about the possibility of diabetes (糖尿病),” she said. “And doctors don’t feel they have good information to give. They felt that they didn’t have adequate tools to address this problem.
The lack of dialogue hurts patients, too. The patient survey, of over 1,000 adults, found that most overweight patients don’t even know that they’re too heavy. Only 39 percent of overweight people surveyed had ever been told by a health care provider that they were overweight.
Of those who were told they were obese, 90 percent were also told by their doctors to lose weight, the survey found. In fact most have tried to lose weight and may have been successful in the past—and many are still trying, the survey found. And many understand that losing even a small amount of weight can have a positive impact on their health and reduce their risk of obesityrelated diseases like hypertension and diabetes.
Dr. William Bestermann Jr., medical director of Holston Medical Group, in Kingsport, Tenn. , which ranks the 10th in obesity among metropolitan areas in the United States, said the dialogue had to be an ongoing one and could not be dropped after just one mention of the problem. “If you’re to be successful with helping your patients lose weight, you have to talk to them at actually every visit about their progress, and find something to encourage them and coach them,” he said.
He acknowledged that many doctors tend to be not optimistic.
“Part of this is that there's this common belief, and doctors are burdened by it, too, that overweight people are weak-willed and just don’t have any willpower and are selfindulgent and all that business,” he said. “If you think that way, you’re not going to spend time having a productive conversation.”
What is the Stop Obesity Alliance most probably in Paragraph 3?
A. An organization of doctors suffering from obesity.
B. An organization of patients suffering from obesity.
C. A research group that conducts special surveys about overweight people.
D. A research group dealing with doctor-patient relationship.
How many of the patients surveyed have been advised by their doctors to lose weight?
A. About 350. B. About 390.
C. About 900. D. About 1,000.
28. What can be inferred about obesity patients in Paragraph 5?
A. They are not as hopeless as doctors think they are.
B. Most of them have tried hard to lose weight, but in vain.
C. Without their doctors’ constant coaching, there is little chance of their succeeding in losing weight.
D. Most of them have just given up their hope of becoming less heavy.
29. According to the passage, which factor contributes to the lack of dialogue between doctors and patients?
A. Most doctors never think of warning their patients about their weight problem.
B. Many doctors find it difficult to persuade overweight people to lose weight.
C. Most patients are too weak-willed to do anything about their weight.
D. Many patients tend not to trust their doctors about their weight problem.

It is pretty much a one-way street. While it may be common for university researchers to try their luck in the commercial world, there is very little traffic in the opposite direction. Pay has always been the biggest deterrent, as people with families often feel they cannot afford the drop in salary when moving to a university job. For some industrial scientists, however, the attractions of academia (学术界) outweigh any financial considerations.
Helen Lee took a 70% cut in salary when she moved from a senior post in Abbott Laboratories to a medical department at the University of Cambridge. Her main reason for returning to academia mid-career was to take advantage of the greater freedom to choose research questions. Some areas of inquiry have few prospects of a commercial return, and Lee’s is one of them.
The impact of a salary cut is probably less severe for a scientist in the early stages of a career. Guy Grant, now a research associate at the Unilever Centre for Molecular Informatics at the University of Cambridge, spent two years working for a pharmaceutical (制药的) company before returning to university as a post-doctoral researcher. He took a 30% salary cut but felt it worthwhile for the greater intellectual opportunities.
Higher up the ladder, where a pay cut is usually more significant, the demand for scientists with a wealth of experience in industry is forcing universities to make the transition (转换) to academia more attractive, according to Lee. Industrial scientists tend to receive training that academics do not, such as how to build a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets and negotiate contracts. They are also well placed to bring something extra to the teaching side of an academic role that will help students get a job when they graduate, says Lee, perhaps experience in manufacturing practice or product development. “Only a small number of undergraduates will continue in an academic career. So someone leaving university who already has the skills needed to work in an industrial lab has far more potential in the job market than someone who has spent all their time on a narrow research project.”
31. By “a one-way street” in Paragraph One, the author means ________.
A. university researchers know little about the commercial world
B. there is little exchange between industry and academia
C. few industrial scientists would quit to work in a university
D. few university professors are willing to do industrial research
32.The underlined word “deterrent” most probably refers to something that ________.
A. keeps someone from taking action
B. helps to move the traffic
C. attracts people’s attention
D. brings someone a financial burden
33. What was Helen Lee’s major consideration when she changed her job in the middle of her career?
A. Flexible work hours.
B. Her research interests.
C. Her preference for the lifestyle on campus.
D. Prospects of academic accomplishments.
34. Guy Grant chose to work as a researcher at Cambridge in order to ________.
A. do financially more rewarding work
B. raise his status in the academic world
C. enrich his experience in medical research
D. exploit better intellectual opportunities
35. What contribution can industrial scientists make when they come to teach in a university?
A. Increase its graduates’ competitiveness in the job market.
B. Develop its students’ potential in research.
C. Help it to obtain financial support from industry.
D. Gear its research towards practical applications.

The government-run command post in Tunis is staffed around the clock by military personnel, meteorologists and civilians. On the wall are maps, crisscrossed with brightly colors arrows that painstakingly track the fearsome path of the enemy.
What kind of invader gives rise to such high-level monitoring? Not man, not beast, but the lowly desert locust(蝗虫). In recent months, billions of the 3-inch-long winged warriors have descended on Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia, blackening the sky and eating up crops and vegetation. The insect invasion, the worst in 30 years, is already creating great destruction in the Middle East and is now treating southern Europe. The current crisis began in late 1985 near the Red Sea. Unusually rainy weather moistened the sands of the Sudan, making them ideal seedbed for the locust, which lays its eggs in the earth. The insect onslaught threatens to create yet another African famine. Each locust can eat its weight (not quite a tenth of an ounce) in vegetation every 24 hours. A good-size swarm of 50 billion insects eats up 100,000 tons of grass, trees and crops in a single night.
All ﹩150 million may be needed this year. The U.S. has provided two spraying planes and about 50,000 gal. of pesticide. The European Community has donated ﹩3.8 million in aid and the Soviet Union, Canada, Japan and China have provided chemical-spraying aircraft to help wipe out the pests. But relief efforts are hampered by the relative mildness of approved pesticides, which quickly lose their deadly punch and require frequent replications. The most effective locust killer dieldrin has been linked to cancer and is banned by many Western countries and some of the affected African nations. More than 5 million acres have been dusted with locust-killing chemicals; another 5 million will be treated by the end of June.
On May 30, representatives of Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Mauritania will meet in Algiers to discuss tactics to wipe out the ravenous swarms. The move is an important step, but whatever plan is devised, the locust plague promised to get worse before the insects can be brought under control.
36. The main idea of the first sentence in the passage is that ______.
A. the command post is stationed with people all the time.
B. the command post is crowded with people all the time.
C. there are clocks around the command post.
D. the clock in the command post is taken care of by the staff.
37. The favorable breeding ground for the locust is ______.
A. rich soil.
B. wet land
C. paces covered crops and vegetation
D. the Red Sea
38. People are alert at the threat of the locust because ______.
A. the insects are likely to create another African famine.
B. the insects may blacken the sky.
C. the number of the insects increases drastically.
D. the insects are gathering and moving in great speed.
39. Which of the following is true?
A. Once the pesticides are used, locust will die immediately.
B. Relief efforts are proved most fruitful due to the effectiveness of certain pesticides.
C. Dieldrin, the most effective locust killer, has been widely accepted in many countries.
D. Over 10 million acres of affected area will have been treated with locust-killing chemicals by the end of June.
40. The purpose for affected nations to meet in Algiers on May 30 is ______.
A. to devise anti-locust plans.
B. to wipe out the swarms in two years.
C. to call out for additional financial aid from other nations.
D. to bring the insects under control before the plague gets worse.
D
There are various ways in which individual economic units can interact with one another. Three basic ways may be described as the market system, the administered system, and the traditional system.
In a market system individual economic units are free to interact among each other in the marketplace. It is possible to buy commodities from other economic units or sell commodities to them. In a market, transactions may take place via barter or money exchange. In a barter economy, real goods such as automobiles, shoes, and pizzas are traded against each other. Obviously, finding somebody who wants to trade my old car in exchange for a sailboat may not always be an easy task. Hence, the introduction of money as a medium of exchange eases transactions considerably. In the modern market economy, goods and services are bought or sold for money.
An alternative to the market system is administrative control by some agency over all transactions. This agency will issue commands as to how much of each good and service should be produced, exchanged, and consumed by each economic unit. Central planning may be one way of administering such an economy. The central plan, drawn up by the government, shows the amounts of each commodity produced by the various firms and allocated to different households for consumption. This is an example of complete planning of production, consumption, and exchange for the whole economy.
In a traditional society, production and consumption patterns are governed by tradition; every person’s place within the economic system is fixed by parentage, religion, and custom. Transactions take place on the basis of tradition, too. People belonging to a certain group or caste(阶级) may have an obligation to care for other persons, provide them with food and shelter, care for their health, and provide for their education. Clearly, in a system where every decision is made on the basis of tradition alone, progress may be difficult to achieve. An inactive society may result.
41. What is the main purpose of the passage?
A. To outline contrasting types of economic systems.
B. To explain the science of economics.
C. To argue for the superiority of one economic system.
D. To compare barter and money-exchange markets.
42. In the second paragraph, the underlined word “real” could best be replaced by _______.
A. valuable B. concrete
C. absolute D. reliable
43. According to the passage, a barter economy can generate ______.
A. rapid speed of transactions
B. misunderstandings
C. inflation
D. difficulties for the traders
44. According to the passage, who has the greatest degree of control in the administered system?
A. Individual households.
B. Small businesses.
C. Major corporations.
D. The government.
45. Which of the following is not mentioned by the author as a criterion(标准)for determining a person’s position in a traditional society?
A. Family background B. Age
C. Religious beliefs. D. Custom

第二节读写任务(共1小题,满分25分)
阅读下面的短文,然后按照要求写一篇150词左右的英语短文。
In one way of thinking, failure is a part of life. In another way, failure may be a way towards success. The “spider story’’ often told, Robert Bruce, leader of the Scots in the 13 th century, was hiding in a cave from the English. He watched a spider spinning a web. The spider tried to reach across a rough place in the rock. He tried six times without success. On the seventh time he made it and went to spin his web. Bruce is said to have taken heart and to have gone on to defeat the English. Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, made hundreds of models that failed before he found the right way to make one. Abraham Lincoln, the famous American president, lost elections more times than he won them! He never gave up in the face of failure but kept trying and was eventually elected to Congress and then the presidency.
So what? First, always think about your failure. What caused it? Were conditions right? Were you in top from yourself? What can you change so things will go right next time?
Second, is the goal you’re trying to reach the right one? Try to do some thinking about what your real goals may be. Think about this question. “If I do succeed this time, where will it get me?’’ This may help you prevent failure in things you shouldn’t be doing anyway.
The third thing to bear in mind about failure is that it’s part of life. Learn to “live with yourself” even though you may have failed. Remember, “You can’t win them all.”

For shopoholies, the post-Christmas period means only one thing --- sales! Across the country, prices are reducing sharply on clothing, electronics, home furnishings and more, but London is the place for serious shopping, and you can certainly pick up some amazing bargains.
The sales start on Boxing Day---26th December, and continue for the month of January, but the keenest bargain hunters get there early to be first through the doors. In Oxford Street queues formed outside shops ahead of pre-dawn openings for the start of their sales. At Brent Cross, in north London, more than 1,000 people were queuing at 3:30 a.m. for the "Next" clothing store's sale which began at 4 a. m. Some eager individuals even camped outside the shops to be first in the line.
Consumers who hit the shops were rewarded with discounts of as much as 80% as department stores joined the sales frenzy. The shops are absolutely crowded as the sales get into full swing, with more than half a million people gathering on London's West End.
Famous sales include the biggest, most popular shops such as Harrods, Selfridges, Liberty and John Lewes. Department stores are always a good bet ---you're likely to find everything you need under one roof, including much-needed food and drinks!
It's a good time to stock up on cheap gadgets, and there's no better time to invest in some designer clothes.
Some people are taking their partners shopping with them, and buying their Christmas presents in the sales --- a practical but unromantic way of making sure you get the gift you really want, For a less exciting but less stressful shopping experience, online sellers are also getting into the act with January sales of their own.
The most organized of all are those who are already doing their present shopping for next Christmas, in the January sales!
26. All of the following are included in the sales except__________
A. fashionable clothing B. bestsellers C. TV sets D. bookcases
27. We can learn from the passage that the sales___________
A. actually start before the end of December
B. generally last for two months

Would you believe that the first outstanding deaf teacher in America was a Frenchman? His name was Laurent Clerc. He became a friend of Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet and together they founded America' s first school for the deaf.
Laurent Clerc was born in a small village near Lyons, France, on December 26, 1785. When he was one year old, he fell into a fire, losing both his hearing and his sense of smell.
At 12, Laurent entered the Royal Institution for the Deaf in Paris where he excelled in his studies. After he graduated, the school asked him to stay on as an assistant teacher.
Meanwhile, in America, Thomas Hopkins Galaudet was studying to be a minister. He was very concerned about the lack of educational opportunities for the deaf. Therefore, in 1815, Gallaudet sailed to London, England to seek ideas on how to teach deaf people. While he was there, he met a French educator of the deaf who invited him to go to Paris to spend three months learning at the Royal Institution for the Deaf, the school where Lauren Clerc was teaching. Gallaudet accepted the offer. The two men worked and studied well together. When the time came for Gallaudet to return, he asked Clerc to come with him. Clerc accepted on one condition: that he would stay in America only a short time.
The two men set sail on June 1816. The voyage across the Atlantic Ocean took 52 days; however,Clere and Gallaudet put the time to good use. Clerc studied English, and Gallaudet studied sign language. They discussed the school for the deaf which they planned to open. On the long trip, they had many conversations about education and deafness. The year after they arrived, they founded a school for the deaf in Harford, Connecticut.
At the school, Clerc led a busy life. He taught signs to Principal Gallaudet; he taught the pupils;and he taught hearing men who came to the school to study deaf education.
In 1819, Clerc married Eliza Crocker Boardman, one of his pupils. They had six children. He retired from teaching in 1858. Although he had intended to return to France, he never did. He died on July 18, 1869 in the United States.
31. Why did Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet sail to London?
A. He needed to finish his studies to become a minister.
B. It was the easiest way to get to France.
C. He wanted to study their system of deaf education.
D. He wanted to marry Alice Cogswell.
32. From this passage we can infer that
A. Clerc was an intelligent man
B. Clerc had great difficulty in learning language
C. Clerc married Eliza in order to get his green card
D. Clerc was paid well because he made such important contributions to the society
33. On their trip from Paris to America, Clerc and Gallaudet
A. played cards and studied Spanish
B. studied and discussed their plans for a deaf school
C. founded a school for the deaf
D. Gallaudet studied English and Clerc studied sign language
34. Which is the right order of the things Clerc did?
A. Met Gallaudet, moved to America, got married, went to school in Paris.
B. Met Gallaudet, went to school in Paris, moved to America, got married.
C. Went to school in Paris, met Gallaudet, moved to America, got married.
D. Got married, went to school in Paris, met Galiaudet, moved to America.

They once seemed more at home on the bustling streets of Asia like Delhi, Calcutta and Bangkok but cycle-powered rickshaws can now be seen taking people across town in many European cities. Many people believe that rickshaws are a good way of experiencing a city close-up, while also cutting down on traffic jams and pollution.
In Berlin, one of the first cities to introduce this new mode of transport, more than 200 bike-taxis go along 15 km per hour, past many tourist attractions and city parks.
"It is completely environmenatally friendly; we have new models with an engine to help the driver up the hills but they use renewable energy," said a spokesman for VELOTAX, the leading rickshaw company which has carried a quarter of a million people this year.
While the city still has 7,000 motor-taxis, rickshaw company officials say their taxis' green ethics, speed and safety make them more than just a tourist attraction. While now increasingly out of fashion in Delhi, Berlin people have eagerly accepted the new fleet since their launch in 1997.
"It's better than a taxi, better than a bus, better than the train," said UlfLehman, 36, as he leapt out.of a rickshaw near the world famous Brandenburg gate. "It feels so free."
"This is something out of the ordinary you feel you are on holiday in Bangkok instead of Berlin,"said another traveler.
In Amsterdam, driver Peter Jancso said people like to be driven around in his bright yellow rickshaw and pretend to be a queen in a golden carriage. "I like my passengers to feel important," he said as he dropped another passenger. Another visitor noted how cheap it was compared with a normal taxi.
Although increasingly popular in Europe, it is the opposite in India, where hand-pulled rickshaws are considered inhuman and a symbol of India's backward paSt.
Nearly 500 bike-rickshaws are running in London and are not required to pay the city's road tax but things may change as other taxi drivers complain of unfair treatment.
36. Where are rickshaws becoming more popular?
A. Delhi, Berlin, Paris. B. Amsterdam, Bangkok, Delhi.
C. Athens,London, Berlin. D. Berlin, Amsterdam, London.
37. Why are rickshaws no longer as widely used in India as in the past?
A. They are a reminder of a bad period in India's history.
B. They have been banned because they are too cruel.
C. The streets of India are too crowded for them to move through easlly.
D. Indians now prefer to travel by car because they are richer.
38. What does the underlined sentence "This is something out of the ordinary you feel you are on holiday in Bangkok instead of Berlin"(para.6) suggest?
A..The passenger didn't like taking a rickshaw as it reminded him of Bangkok.
B. The passenger enjoyed being on holiday in Berlin more than in Bangkok.
C. The passenger was impressed when taking a rickshaw and considered it unusual.
D. The passenger disapproved of rickshaws because they were not original to Berlin.
39. Which of the following is mentioned in the text?
A. Rickshaws may need to pay tax for causing traffic jams.
B. Rickshaws and taxis are treated differently in London.
C. Rickshaws will eventually take the place of taxis.
D. Rickshaws will always be a cheap means of transport."
40. What is the author's attitude towards rickshaws?
A. He gives no personal opinion. B. He believe they will be of no use.
C. He thinks they will reduce pollution. D. He thinks they are old-fashioned.

In the kitchen of my mother's houses there has always been a wooden stand with a small notepad and a hole for a pencil.
I'm looking for paper on which to note down the name of a book I am recommending to my mother. Over forty years since my earliest memories of the kitchen pad and pencil, five houses later, the current paper and pencil look the same as they always did. Surely it can't be the same pencil The pad is more modern, but the wooden stand is definitely the original one.
"I'm just amazed you still have the same stand for holding the pad and pencil after all these years." I say to her, walking back into the living-room with a sheet of paper and the pencil. "You still use a pencil. Can't you afford a pen?"
My mother replies a little sharply. "It works perfectly well, I've always kept the stand in the kitchen. I never knew when I might want to note down an idea, and I was always in the kitchen in these days.,
Immediately I can picture her, hair wild, blue housecoat covered in flour, a wooden spoon in one hand, the pencil in the other, her mouth moving silently. My mother smiles and says, "One day I was cooking and watching baby Pauline, and I had a brilliant thought, but the stand was empty. One of the children must have taken the paper. So I just picked up the breadboard and wrote it all down on the back, It turned out to be a real breakthrough for solving the mathematical problem I Was working on."
This story, which happened before I was born, reminds me how extraordinary my mother was,and is also a gifted mathematician. I feel embarrassed that I complain about not having enough child-free time to work. Later, when my mother is in the bathroom, I go into her kitchen and turn over the breadboards. Sure enough, on the back of the smallest one, are some penciled marks I recognize as mathematics. Those symbols have traveled unaffected through fifty years, rooted in the soil of a
cheap wooden breadboard, invisible exhibits at every meal.
41. Why has the author's mother always kept the notepad and pencil in the kitchen?
A. To leave messages. B. To list her everyday tasks.
C. To note down maths problems. D. To write down a flash of inspiration.
42. What is the author's original opinion about the wooden stand?
A. It has great value for the family.
B. It needs to be replaced by a better one.
C. It brings her back to her lonely childhood.
D. It should be passed on to the next generation.
43. The author feels embarrassed for____________
A. blaming her mother wrongly
B. giving her mother a lot of trouble
C. not making good use of time as her mother did
D. not making any breakthrough in her field
44. What can be inferred from the last paragraph?
A. The mother is successful in her career.
B. The family members like traveling.
C. The author had little time to play when young.
D. The marks on the breadboard have disappeared.
45. In author's mind, her mother is__________
A. strange in behavior B. keen on her research
C. fond of collecting old things D. careless about her appearance

第二节读写任务(共1小题,满分25分)
阅读下面的短文,然后按照要求写一篇150词左右的英语短文。
On Sundays my father always wore that dull gray apron (围裙). The ritual began after breakfast when Dad always announced, "Go ahead everyone. I'll take care of the dishes!" Off came the suit coat he had worn to church that morning. Up went the shirtsleeves. On went that apron. For the next hour Dad did the dishes, singing songs like "Who Put the Chow in Mrs, Murphy's Chowder?"
I suppose it was strange for a boy's father to wear an apron but I never thought much of it until the day that Dad broke with tradition. It was the last Sunday in August.
"Tommy," he said letting my name roll off his tongue. My mind raced ahead of his words: A new bike? A part-time-job?
"There comes a time in every boy's life when he must take on responsibilities."
"Responsibilities?" I asked.
"Yes, It's time you took a greater role in the household." Power tools? Boss my baby brother?
"Starting today, I want you to do the dishes on Sunday morning so your mother and I can work the crossword puzzle together."
"The dishes ! ?"
"Anything wrong with taking over the dishes, son?"
Ask me to run through a rainstorm. Command me to ride the roller coaster-backward.These things I would do. But I could never do those dishes. There was nothing left but to refuse.
People often say there is a special chemistry between a father and a son. He came back into the kitchen just as I was about to storm out. In his right hand was the old apron.
"I want you to have this, Tommy. It'll keep your clothes from getting wet." And before I could mount a protest, he had put the thing on me. "Thanks, Son. Your mother and I appreciate this.".
With that he disappeared into the Sunday paper. Soon I was singing about Mrs. Murphy's chowder. The words came out of nowhere. And out of nowhere I knew the kind of man I wanted to be.

第二节读写任务(共1小题,每小题25分)
参考范文:
A boy, who used to think housework was an adult's job, was asked to wash dishes. Though surprised and unwilling to do so at first, he finally realized he, too, should take on responsibility in the household.
Nowadays, quite a lot of children take it for granted that their parents do all the chores at home. They are either busy playing games or doing their schoolwork but seldom wash dishes or do the cleaning.
It is, of course, not right for children not to take on any responsibility in the household. As a family member, a child should help with the housework so that their parents can relax themselves after a long day's work. If a child takes his role in the housework, he will become sympathetic and considerate and would like to help others. I used to be rather lazy, not participating in any housework and did not understand my parents' hardship until one day I helped clean the house.
From then on, I find it a pleasure to help others and I am proud to say I have grown to be a person who can take on responsibilities both at home and at school.
