Good morning ladies and gentlemen:
The title of my speech today is "The Doors that Are Open to Us ".
The other day my aunt paid me a visit. She was overjoyed. "I got the highest mark in the mid-term examination!" she said. Don't be surprised! My aunt is indeed a student; to be exact, a college student at the age of 45.
Last year, she put aside her private business and signed up for a one-year, full-time management course in a college. "This was the wisest decision I have ever made," she said proudly like a teenage girl. To her, college is always a right place to pick up new ideas, and new ideas always make her feel young.
"Compared with the late 70s," she says, "now college students have many doors." My aunt cannot help but recall her first college experience in 1978 when college doors began to be re-opened after the Cultural Revolution. She was assigned to study engineering despite her desire to study Chinese literature, and a few years later, the government sent her to work in a TV factory.
I was shocked when she first told me how she (had) had no choice in her major and job. Look at us today! So many doors are open to us! I believe there have never been such abundant opportunities for self-development as we have today. And my aunt told me that we should reach our goals by grasping all these opportunities.
The first door I see is the opportunity to study different kinds of subjects that interest us. My aunt said she was happy to study management, but she was also happy that she could attend lectures on ancient Chinese poetry and on Shakespearean drama. As for myself, I am an English major, but I may also go to lectures on history. To me, if college education in the past emphasized specialization, now, it emphasizes free and well-rounded development of each individual. So all the fine achievements of human civilization are open to us.
The second door is the door to the outside world. Learning goes beyond classrooms and national boundaries. My aunt remembers her previous college days as monotonous and even calls her generation "frogs in a well." But today, as the world becomes a global village, it is important that our neighbors and we be open-minded to learn with and from each other. I have many fellow international classmates, and I am applying to an exchange program with a university abroad. As for my aunt, she is planning to get an MBA degree in the United Kingdom where her daughter, my cousin, is now doing her master's degree in biochemistry. We are now taking the opportunity to study overseas, and when we come back, we'll put to use what we have learnt abroad.
The third door is the door to lifelong learning. As new ideas appear all the time, we always need to acquire new knowledge, regardless of our age. Naturally, my aunt herself is the best example. Many of my aunt's contemporaries say that she is amazingly up-to-date for a middle-aged woman. She simply responds, "Age doesn't matter. What matters is your attitude. You may think it's strange that I am still going to college, but I don't think I'm too old to learn." Yes, she is right. Since the government removed the age limit for college admissions in 2001, there are already some untraditional students, sitting with us in the same classrooms. Like these people, my aunt is old but she is very young in spirit. With her incredible energy and determination, she embodies both tradition and modernity.
The doors open to us also pose challenges. For instance, we are faced with the challenge of a balanced learning, the challenge of preserving our fine tradition while learning from the West, and the challenge of learning continuously while carrying heavy responsibilities to our work and family. So, each door is a test of our courage, ability and judgment, but with the support of my teachers, parents, friends and my aunt, I believe I can meet the challenge head on. When I reach my aunt's age, I can be proud to say that I have walked through dozens of doors and will, in the remainder of my life, walk through many more. Possibly I will go back to college, too.
Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen.

change the world? change ourselves
good evening, honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen。
it’s my great pleasure to stand here to present my speech—change the world, change ourselves。
it’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected。 not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture。
frankly speaking, i don’t quite agree with them。indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions。 (examples)。but why can’t we absorb the meaningful western holidays and culture。
there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china。 on the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t have are reasonable and meaningful, such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc。 on the other hand, the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china。 overwhelmed by such a trend, chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture。
with the further development of the whole world, the cultural communication between different countries and nations becomes faster and more and more important。 we are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of the same world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealth of everyone on the earth。the only way for us to protect our traditional culture is to reject the foreign culture? the answer is definitely no。 what we ought to do is to spare no effort to educate chinese to get to know and treasure our splendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture。 only by educating can we set our confidence and belief towards our culture。 only by educating can we preserve and promote the wealth that our ancesters left for us。
at last i’d like to share a famouse saying of gandhi with all of you ,that is:if you want to change the world, then you must change yourself first。”

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.
A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.
The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.
A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
There was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can?'t be cured. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission.
He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.
She looked up and asked, “Can I help you?”
She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.
He said, “Uh… Yeah… Umm… I would like to buy a CD.”
He picked one out and gave her money for it.
"Would you like me to wrap it for you?” she asked, smiling her cute smile again.
He nodded and she went to the back. She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store.
He went home and from then on, he went to that store every day and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her. So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store as usual. He bought a CD like he did every day and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out…
One day the phone rang, and the mother picked it up and said, “Hello?”
It was the girl! The mother started to cry and said, “You don?'t know? He passed away yesterday…”
The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother. Later in the day, the mother went into the boy?'s room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet.
She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all these CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one. Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it. It said: Hi… I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn.
The mother was deeply moved and opened another CD…
Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi… I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn.
Love is… when you?'ve had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, “I Love You.”

Globalization: Challenges and Opportunities for China's Younger Generation
Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen:
Today I'm very happy to be here to share with you some of my thoughts on the topic of Globalization. And first of all, I would like to mention an event in our recent history.
Thirty years ago, American President Richard Nixon made an epoch-making visit to China, a country still isolated at that time. Premier Zhou Enlai said to him, "Your handshake came over the vastest ocean in the world - twenty-five years of no communication." Ever since then, China and America have exchanged many handshakes of various kinds. The fundamental implication of this example is that the need and desire to communicate across differences in culture and ideology is not only felt by the two countries but by many other nations as well.
As we can see today, environmentalists from different countries are making joint efforts to address the issue of global warming, economists are seeking solutions to financial crises that rage in a particular region but nonetheless cripple the world's economy, and diplomats and politicians are getting together to discuss the issue of combating terrorism. Peace and prosperity has become a common goal that we are striving for all over the world. Underlying this mighty trend of globalization is the echo of E. M. Forster's words, "Only connect!"
With the IT revolution taking place, traditional boundaries of human society fall away. Our culture, politics, society and commerce are being sloshed into a large melting pot of humanity. In this interlinked world, there are no outsiders, for a disturbance in one place is likely to impact other parts of the globe. We have begun to realize that a world divided cannot endure.
China is now actively integrating into the world. Our recent entry to the WTO is a good example. For decades, we have taken pride in being self-reliant, but now we realize the importance of participating in and contributing to a broader economic order. From the precarious role in the world arena to our present WTO membership, we have come a long way.
But what does the way ahead look like? In some parts of the world people are demonstrating against globalization. Are they justified then, in criticizing the globalizing world? Instead of narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor, they say, globalization enables developed nations to swallow the developing nations' wealth in debts and interest. Globalization, they argue, should be about an earnest interest in every other nation's economic health.
We are reminded by Karl Marx that capital goes beyond national borders and eludes control from any other entity. This has become a reality. Multinational corporations are seeking the lowest cost, the largest market, and the most favorable policy. They are often powerful lobbyists in government decision-making, ruthless expansionists in the global market place and a devastating presence to local businesses.
For China, still more challenges exist. How are we going to ensure a smooth transition from the planned economy to a market-based one? How to construct a legal system that is sound enough and broad enough to respond to the needs of a dynamic society? How to maintain our cultural identity in an increasingly homogeneous world? And how to define greatness in our rise as a peace-loving nation? Globalization entails questions that concern us all.
Like many young people my age in China, I want to see my country get prosperous and enjoying respect in the international community. But it seems to me that mere patriotism is not just enough. It is vitally important that we young people do more serious thinking and broaden our mind to bigger issues. And, there might never be easy answers to those issues such as globalization, but to take them on and give them honest thinking is the first step to be prepared for both opportunities and challenges coming our way. And this is also one of the thoughts that came to me while preparing this speech. Thank you.

From a middle class family, I was born in Hsin Ying, Tainan on October 10th, 1965. My father is a civil official at Tainan City Government. My mother is a house wife good at cooking. Although I am the only child of my parents, I am by no mans a spoiled one. On the contrary, I have been expected to be a successful man with advanced education. I study hard at school. Besides texts knowledge, journalism is my favorite; whenever reading, my heart is filled with great joy and interesting.“Being good is must; successful, however, is plus.” Father adopts the idea of his father. Especially in military service, I realized it more precisely. People said: Military service makes a boy to man, I agree that.I realized the importance of English and began to study diligently when I was eighteen. I did not start in my early age, but I hope that I could pass the test of General English Proficiency Test. And this is my best wish at the moment.

i'll tell you an experience of myself happened last week. last thursday our school was tackling something about woking fou study. i wanted to have a try even though i knew the salary was so low and i had little chance, because the students who had the certificate were always thought to have priority to get the job.
fortunately i was called at noon and a teacher said to me that she wanted me to work for her and asked if i could change my mind. at that moment i was so excited that immediately i accepted her idea. but later on,she found me that i'm not a student,so i had little chance and suggest me to get one. then an idea occurred to me that i could call my father and ask him to send me the letter. at the same time i was told that i was admitted to the job and don't need the certificate. that time i forgot to remind my father, until the next day he called me that he had posted it and it would arrive in just one day.
at that moment i was moved, and even moved into tears, because i knew my father was injured not long before, the process of helping me with the affairs was not so convenient for him. but he tried his best to help me. sometimes we may complain about unsatisfying things around us,and blame them on our parents, sometimes they'll be angry with us, and sometimes we can't quite understand what they are thinking about. but on balance, almost every parent is selfless to his or her child. they are ready to offer everything to us when we are in bad situation. we used to sharing sorrow with them, but do not forget to share our happiness with them, perhaps they will be much happier than we are. so from now on, let's care more about our parents and do not leave pity to them. that's what i want to tell you today. thank you!

In summer of 2015, public officials in our province of Saskatchewan issued a decree: that allaffected people leave their homes and in mass exodus, travel to places of refuge where theycould be safe and accounted for.
They were escaping blazing forest fires of epic proportions.
It was the largest evacuation in Saskatchewan history.
Thousands of people were on the move, all of them in uncertain circumstances, not knowinghow quickly they would return home.
For a few young women, these circumstances had an added dimension of uncertainty. Theywere in the late stages of pregnancy.
These young women were living as displaced persons far from home, without the supplies theyhad gathered for their new baby.
Thankfully, for all concerned, healthy babies were delivered in hospitals close by with medicalstaff to give assistance.
We are privileged to live in a province where people come together. That can be difficult whenstress levels are high.
And so I salute the evacuees, and the firefighters, and the troops, and the Red Cross, and thelocal officials, the mayors and chiefs.
Those who shared money, food and supplies, those who prayed for an ending to this situation. All rose to the occasion.
Two thousand years ago, a public official named Caesar Augustus issued a decree that all peopleneeded to be accounted for. It affected the entire Roman world. Everyone needed to beregistered.
Many people were on the move, with primitive travel arrangements, not knowing how long thiswould take.
I'm sure for some young women, this circumstance had an added dimension of uncertainty.Like being in the late stages of pregnancy.
For one of these young women, the time came to have her baby, her first. Not in a local hospitalalong the way, not even in a clean, comfortable Holiday Inn, but in a stable, with precious fewamenities.
Her only assistant, a most likely very, very nervous husband, with perhaps some curiousanimals looking on.
She didn't have much for supplies either. All she had were a few strips of cloth to wrap him in.And all she could lay him in was not a cradle made by her carpenter husband, but just asimple, dirty manger.
Crude surroundings for a King. His first visitors – an adoring group in from the fields smellingstrongly of sheep. They were alerted by a type of atmospheric media unlike any we couldimagine.
All rose to the occasion.
This Christmas, we celebrate the arrival of that very special baby boy. The "Divinest Heart thatever walked the earth was born on that day" as it has been said.
His name is Jesus, the essence of hope and peace and the ultimate example of self-sacrificefor love.
So from me and my wife Tami, and our family, and on behalf of my colleagues in theGovernment of Saskatchewan: "May you have the gladness of Christmas which is hope; thespirit of Christmas which is peace; and the heart of Christmas which is love."
And may you spread joy to others who need it most. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

ladies and gentlemen , good afternoon! i‘m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is ―youth‖. i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it. first i want to ask you some questions: 1、do you know what is youth? 2、how do you master your youth? youth youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ;
it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ;
it is the freshness of the deep springs of life . youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals. years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust . whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what‘s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart there‘s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young . when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. thank you!

I Regain Confidence
I received a devastating blow to my self-confidence in the first interview of my college years. I applied to be a host in our Student Acting Troupe and felt confident that I would be accepted. But one of the panel members told me: "You seem inadequate and you are a little vertically-challenged." My life has never been the same since. I used bigger heels to complement my height and psychological maneuvers and tricks to hide my lack of confidence. But no matter how hard I tried to look the part, there was still something missing.

As president of English Club, I organized the rehearsal of Snow White for an English party. Unfortunately, we could not find an actor to be the last dwarf. It had to be someone who was humorous by nature and fluent in English. Suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and I knew I would have to be the dwarf. To my great surprise and delight, once on stage, I was totally absorbed in the performance and my humorous nature was put to full use. As the dwarf, I was a big hit.
Yes, each of us is only one among millions of others, but each of us is an individual and each of us is unique. Cultivating our individuality will transform our lives, making of them a kaleidoscope of new colors and textures.
A world deprived of diversity would be a bland and boring place. The real tragedy is not being short or shy or ugly, but having your identity lost in a world in which everyone is a clone of a model cool boy or a flawless charming girl.
Given a choice, I would rather be ugly than live in such a world. I'd rather be a genuine dwarf accompanying a Snow White than be a Snow White among nothing but Snow Whites. I would rather be myself. I would contribute my individual and unique colors to create a more diverse universe. Please, be yourself.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Good afternoon!
I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it, and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.
First I want to ask you some questions:
1、Do you know what is youth? 2、How do you master your youth?
Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.
Whether 60 of 16, there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.
Thank you!

Mother in my heart
Dear teacher, dear students:
You good.
You must see it through the motherland, beautiful land. That surging river, rolling in the Yellow River, the endless mountains, all part of our great motherland. Magnificent mountains and the motherland, the motherland of the river is elegant, extremely broad mind the motherland.
We are all Chinese, all descendants of the dragon. Our happiness comes from the motherland, only rich and powerful countries, can we spend a happy life forever Guanghua. Chinese history tells us, have no country, no home, the state is not strong, and beaten. Our dearest parents, favorite is China When the cruel oppression of the aggressors, when our beautiful mountains and rivers, each face of the Chinese people with conscience tears, hearts dripping with blood, sacred to the hearts of the motherland, they grope in the dark, in the humiliation of protest.
Yiduo outraged, Within the wide assassin's pistol, Ji Hongchang hung that read, "I am Chinese" slogan wooden plaque, walking in a blue-eyed, blond among foreigners. Zhang and Yang generals to save the nation from peril, decided to launch the Xi'an Incident ... ...
It is the millions of pure, just propped up the backbone of our nation, hope of the motherland; exactly what they, in their own "Today", with the wholehearted blood, composed worthy of the times, "Anthem," before makes our national anthem resounded through the Divine Republic today, so magnificent, so magnificent song
Shame and misery have become the past, the Chinese ushered in a new glory. Since the reform and opening up 20 years, the majority of working people hard work, whether military, technological, political, sports, we have made considerable progress, the just concluded Athens Olympic Games, the athletes with their "decade of Sword ", first among the Chinese sports power list, the five-star red flag fly high again and again over the stadium in Athens, forceful and passionate of the National Anthem for countless sons and daughters of emotions, tears.
Veteran excited to see the tears after gold Wang Yifu, Liu Xiang crosses the finish line to see hands in the air circling bolted figure, I am reminded of the scene as a child watching the Olympics It is a summer evening, my mother and I sat in front of the TV watching the Olympics opening ceremony, to see the games the national flags of different colors, my mother asked me: "Little Can;, you are most like the flag."; 6 years old, I tilted thought, said, "five-star red flag." "Why?" "Because it's the color most vibrant, yellow five-pointed star above look good." my mother did not speak a long time and watched me, shook his head "No, child, because you, the Chinese people!"
"You are Chinese!" The simple words contained in The Road, how many sons and daughters to do the voice, precisely because there is such a Chinese heart, revolutionary martyrs shed their blood and Olympic athletes courageously fighting, repeatedly create brilliant, and it was only six years old I saw the five-star red flag fluttering in the wind will be excited, passionate aspirations.
From that day began, in my mind, there was such a belief: the motherland is the mother, the state is more important than a small house, grow up with both hands to her ever more powerful. Mother has a vast territory, has a glorious history, a rich treasure of the mountains and plains, there are three five Yuexiu Li River scenery. Thinking of Mustang in the Mercedes-Benz, I use my heart depicts the motherland mother, her long hair is the thousands of articles drifting leisurely river flows into her spine is tough and Qiaoba continuous mountain, and her bright eyes is That Dongting's water, West Lake, wave it! Mother's day, "After the fall this is, change the world", the motherland, the "Falling blossoms Fanzuo waves, Castle Peak intentionally into the bridge," Looking to the motherland, rivers and mountains thousands of miles, as if living in between poetry and painting.
The motherland is the pearl of the Orient, is off the dragon of Asia, is the rising sun on the distant horizon. Homeland in your heart, in my mind, in the hearts of all of us.
Thank you.

My Views on Receiving Education
In my early years, I did not see the value of education.
When I was going on thirteen, I started to run my own shop. From then on, I worked hard to become a successful businessman.
One day I realized the importance of the English language in the business world and started taking night classes.
I was able to communicate well with foreign customers after two years of English study. But I started to feel that, in the long run, having a limited knowledge of English was not enough to make my business successful. I knew that only a well- rounded education could guarantee my success in the future.
When I was eighteen, I had to make a decision to continue doing business or go back to school. There was one obstacle keeping me from getting an advanced education. I had only completed elementary school up to that point. I then went back to senior high school after four months of tutoring in different subjects. Being at school for the first time after so many years was somewhat embarrassing because my classmates were at least two or three years younger than I. I concluded that my age did not matter. The important thing was getting into college.
I took the College Entrance Exams. Although my math exam result was only one point below the required score. I never gave up hope. The following year, I took it again and received the highest score in my city. Achieving such an amazing result gave me encouragement and courage necessary to continue my education to the next step.
I am now in my second year of college and know that it is never too late to learn. My passion for studying and improving myself will never come to a halt as long as I continue to live.
“Live and Learn.” is the motto I have adopted. I believe with an education I will succeed. So, if you are wondering whether education is important, don’t hesitate a moment to step up and seize the opportunity.

a young idler,an old beggar almost everyone knows the famous chinese saying:a young idler,an old beggar.
throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.
it goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life, during which ones mental and physical states are at their peaks.
it takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments.
in addition, one is less likely to be under great pressure from career, family and health problems when young.
therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life.
of course,we all know:no pains,no gains.
if we dont make every effort to make good use of the advantages youth brings us,it is impossible to achieve any goals.
as students,we should now try our best to learn all the subjects well so that we can be well prepared for the challenges that we will face in the future.

Motherland, you are the lamp that leads the way in the night, you are the gentle wind in the sun, you are the kindest and warmest call like "Mom", no matter where I go, I will never forget.
Motherland, my motherland, I know you in the four great inventions, I see you in the persistence of the Terracotta Army, I listen to you in the Pentium of the Yellow River, I admire you in the towering mountains of Mount Tai. In the memories of my grandparents, I imagined your sufferings and vicissitudes; in the stories of parents, I tasted your efforts and your rise; in the songs of brothers and sisters, I listened to your take-off , Your glory; in the days and nights of my life, I feel your harmony, your magic!
In the northern country, I lingered in the silver-clad plain wrap. In Jiangnan, I fell in love with Xiaoqiao Liushuiren; my father picked up the shell from Hainan, and I heard the surging waves; my mother brought back the small flower hat from Turpan, and I smelled the fruit Sweet. The teacher said that our motherland is rich in resources, every inch of land is filled with miracles, and there are more sleepy surprises, waiting for us to grow up and evoke one by one.
I want to sing to you, my motherland, in gentle minor tunes, in wild wild songs, in high-pitched marches, in gorgeous arias, in all of my most beautiful words, in the most beautiful melody, I want, I want to sing you ! I want to stand on the continent of the river, the Mekong of the water, the top of the mountain, and the shore of the sea. Sing for you with my tender but full of true feelings. Sing the sentence that I have in my heart: Motherland, I love you!
