Good evening!My name is quduwen .I’m ^ years old . we come from Showbe English school. It’s my great pleasure to stand here and share my dream with you tonight.

Different people have different dreams. Some people dream of being rich or famous, some others dream of staying young forever. I also have a lot of dreams. But my biggest dream is to spread English throughout China and Chinese throughout the world.

As everyone knows,English is an international language which is spoken all over the world. Time magazine suggested that English is used by one quarter of the world’s population. Sixty percent of the world’s television and radio broadcasts are produced and delivered in English. Seventy percent of the world’s e-mails are addressed in English. And it is the language of choice for almost every byte of computer data sent across the globe. If we can speak English well,we will have more chances to succeed. More and more people have taken notice of this fact. Therefore, the number of the people who seek to learn English has increased at a rapid speed.

However, for me, I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness,but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I sense a different way of thinking which gives me more possibilities to be in touch with the world.When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation.When I speak English, I feel a great confidence within me. When I write English, I can see the beauty of the words.

I love English, and of course I also love my mother tongue Chinese.Chinese is spoken by billions of people in the world.More and more foreigners are starting to learn Chinese now,especially after the 2008 Olympic Games, I do realize that only when we speak English well can we communicate with foreiners better. Then we can travel around the world, make friends with many people from different countries, more importantly,we will be able to help foreigners learn more about Beijing and more about China. I hope that they can love our country as much as we do.

To achieve my dream, I’ve made great efforts.Two years ago, I seized the chance to go to Dos Crazy English Intensive Training Camp for free. I learned a lot there. Since I came back home, I’ve continued to listen and speak English on the road, on a bus, in school and at home. I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe practice makes perfect.After continuous hard study, one day I can be an international Chinese.

This is who I am, a Chinese college student! This is my dream,to spread English throughout China and Chinese throughout the world!

Everyone has a dream. Now I'll talk about my dream i What is my dream？ I often ask myself. When I was a little boy, I wanted to be a soldier with a gun so that I could defend our motherland.

Now I am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doc-tor. I want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives. Why has my dream changed？ Well, at the age of 11 I was ill, badly ill. I am very glad to stand here to give thier a short speech.Today my topic is that the youth are the future of motherland

When preparing for the English speech contest, I simply want to search some articles as the contents of my speech. I read a lot of articles, some from the university professor, some from the famous host, some from the college students, and even from junior high school students. But after reading it, I gave up the idea, I even felt shameful. Today,the topic I want to talk about is a solemn and serious theme full of glory and pride, which is a common aspiration of all our Chinese. Every Chinese has his own dream of China, and of course, there is a dream lingering in my heart only belongs to my own.

I was surprised ,when the old man fell down in the street,We are afraid to help him.I was disappointed ,when someone do good things were reported,many people think he was affectation, I was sad,when I saw many of young people become indifferent ,fraud and lack of ideal.

Are we sick, or is our dear motherland sick?

我很惊讶，当大街上有老人摔倒，我们不敢再去扶起;我很难过，当有人做了好事被报道，更多的人说他做作;我很伤心，当我看到我们众多的青年人变得冷漠、市侩、欺诈以及缺乏理想。

I don't want to talk about the construction of our country politics, and also speak impassioned speech on the Diaoyu Island event .I just want to appeal young people,showing the side of youth,good and confidence.We must learn to organize our own thoughts, correct our own concept, and change our direction to the right side in future life. China dream actually lies in our young generation, especially of the intellectuals.

Perhaps I cannot change our country by my own, but if thousands and thousands of young people struggle for the dream together, our motherland is enough to make the world shock.

Three year ago, I weighed more than 100 hundred kilograms which caused significant embarrassment and frustration in my life. It was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from my passive attitude to become confident in myself. She said “ My dear, if you can’t change you figure, why not treat it as your own style. Life is a box of chocolate,you never know what you will get. Forrest Gump made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles. Take myself as an example, I changed my major when I became a postgraduate. After the choice,days have been harsh for me.I cannot understand the new lessons at all. For they are closely related to mathmatics which I learned nothing about before. However wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,I persisted. I asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life. Gradually I could understand some parts and even found maths interesting.Moreover, I learned to act instead of complaining. I suddenly think of a song named MY HEART WILL GO ON.There is a beautiful sentence going like this.You are safe in my heart.More than once,i was moved to tears by it.I know ,i am also safe in your heart.i have already forgotten when i told you i was going to leave for Australia this summer holiday.You just smiled as usual,gently speaking.Whatever you decide to do,i will be in favor of it,but, just onething,remember,when you fell lonely abroad,do not forget we are here ,praying for you.

We are all around you,far across the distance and space between us.i closed my eyes,the flashback started.The memories we had together,once we played games on the palyground,we played jokes on each other,you always wrote a lot of sentences on my articles to encourage me.And the most unforgetable thing,you told me,you believed m i could be a big girl.Sooner or later.

My topic is Honesty.

As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story.

65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure.

He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 2002, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.

When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one’s error.

Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of my friends: Let’s be honest people of good moral character.

奋斗——这是年轻人最熟悉的词语，最激昂的决心。初项目部时，一眼望去，最醒目的便是门前的大旗，上面写着青年突击队，心中顿时有些激动。这是一支年轻人的队伍，这是青春的象征，而我也将要成为这个朝气蓬勃队伍的一分子，心中异常的紧张和兴奋。我已经离开了父母和老师无微不至的呵护，走进社会，所以我也要奋斗，我把他定为我的第一目标。

创新——企业的精神，我们的追求。勇于跨越，追求卓越的企业目标在鼓舞着年轻的人们，抓住机遇，勇于创新，锐意进取，不断提高。

务实——告别学生时代的虚荣和攀比，来到这里汲取知识，接受锻炼，提高素质，增长经验，打好坚实的基础，用实际行动实现自我的梦想，造就完美的人生。

细心——当我们这些刚刚走出校门的实习生填写内业资料时，听见最多的词语就是师哥们一直在告诫的细心一词，是的，在一个工程中最重要的，也是铸就精品工程最重要的就是细心，细心才成就了一次次的辉煌成绩，完成了一份份完美的考卷。

尊重——因为我还年轻，缺少丰富的经验和阅历，所以一定要做到尊重别人的意见，虚心接受别人的教诲。另外，尊重也是一个人的自身素质和修养。所以在学习经验的同时，学习尊重也尤为重要。

当我离开多姿多彩的大学生活，来到这里塑造我的人生，雕刻我的梦想的时候，就已经为自己的人生做好了规划，把自己的理想铭刻于心中，做一个甘于寂寞，敢于创新，干劲十足的年轻人。

“士不可以不弘毅，任重而道远”作为一个80后的年轻人，一个国家，一个民族的希望所在，心中无不闪烁着梦想，那么现在就是我们努力实现梦想的时候。当前我们正处于一个承前启后，继往开来的转折点，有一大批的工程项目等着我们去建设，有一系列的技术等着我们去攻关，有一大片市场等着我们去开拓，有一整套的经验等着我们去探索。

当一个人把自己的青春融入到自己的事业的时候，那么他的青春不会流失，他的事业也必将在岁月的历练中折射出耀眼的光芒!“有的人活着他已经死了，有的人死了他还活着，生命的意义在于活着，并且要好好活着，正如《士兵突击》中的许三多，总是说要好好活，总是说好好活就是做很多有意义的事，那么什么才是有意义的事呢?怎样才能活的更有意义呢?我想那就要奉献。如果我们不付出，不创造，不追求，不奉献，那这样的青春必会稍纵即逝。回首过去，没有追忆，人生渺茫，这绝对不是我们活着的意义。

我们选择了工程单位，从某种意义上来说，就已经选择了奉献。远离了都市的繁华，城市的喧嚣，绚丽的生活，时尚的气息，沉淀了心情在这里驻足，扎根。我们是失去了一些东西，但是我们没有失去最为宝贵的青春，我们也没有辜负自己的青春，因为我们正用汗水见证着成长，用奉献丈量着价值，拥有青春的人们在这原本荒凉的土地上创造人生的奇迹，抒写青春的乐章。

我们项目部就是是年轻的一分子，就是青春的象征，在这里的年轻人们都拥有着美丽的青春，我们是热血沸腾的一代，虽然我们出生于不同的年代，工作在不同的岗位，但我们拥有一个共同的家。在这里，我们信守着同样的企业精神，写下同样的奉献承诺，怀揣着同样奋斗的梦想，拥有同样的壮美青春。纵使我们的一生平淡无华，也无关紧要，因为只有我们自己最清楚平凡的岗位需要我们付出，完美的工程需要我们付出，构建和谐企业更需要我们年轻人共同付出，而这些付出无疑就是一种奉献，它不分大小，多少，先后。让我们悄悄地奉献，因为我们的人生会因为奉献而变得充实美丽。
